Kokkino Chorio Hike up and over to Drapanos Village on February 25th, 2024

Our hike with the Chania Hiking Club was from the village of Kokkino Chorio to Drapanos which is about 25 kilometers outside of Chania. We had a beautiful windy day to hike from one small village to another by way of a small mountain. The hike felt like it was straight up and straight down but of course it wasn't that difficult, but it wasn't that easy either since the villages are not that far apart. At the end of the hike, we had lunch at a taverna in Drapanos. The view from the top was fantastic. You could see the entire Akrotiri Peninsula. We really got lucky with such a clear day.
