A (very belated) thank you for this video! I came across it while trying to get an idea about the quality of Warlord's models. About the vehicles: The Toldi was a license built copy of the Swedish Landsverk L-60. The Turán was based on a very late 1930s Skoda design. The assault gun you showed off was the Zrínyi II armed with a 105mm mountain howitzer. A few hundred of these were produced and fought with great success. There was a Zrínyi I version which had a 75mm long barrel AT gun - this tank hunter version only ever existed as a prototype. The two versions shared roughly the same hull, which was based on the Turán tank.
Good job! your investment in time on cutting the metal minis off their plinth bases before going onto the scenic bases really paid off. I was interested that youd used the contrast paints..seems like the colour you found matched that yellow green of their uniforms well. Well done! look forward to a battle report of them in action! Regards, Dan.
Really nice Hungarians. If your friend didn't do the pill shaped bases you could have used pill shaped casino chips.I will always buy casino chips whenever i see them at the right price in charity stores.Nice job well done.👍
How do these Warlord models compare next to the other Warlord plastics? Unfortunately, the new Chinese models look extremely tiny next to a US airborne soldier.
its tough for me to say as I mainly have German Warlord figures so they are all pretty much the same size. It's just the Perry Africa Korps which are tiny!
Awesome work love what you did with jamie Tranters polish KS figures also the assault gun was used I believe 66 were built of the one type www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/hungary/43M_Zrinyi.php
Nice army. You even have the Buzogány rocket troops. Very cool. And a Zrínyi! Wow. Here is how Hungarians pronounce Csaba (cs is one sound): forvo.com/search/Csaba/ I really recommend forvo for any pronunciation you need because it is native speakers who read it for you.

They look quite splendid, Dom, and really reflect the amount of thought and planning you put into them. Quite unusual. Very nice bases.
