Car makes 1800whp, shows up on pancake street tires. I'd be pulling up with the biggest full slick I could fit under the wheel arch.

Z32 TwinTurbo GTRs are no slouch. Doesn’t take much mods to make them fast anyways. But this GTR was supposedly the fastest in Texas I’m assuming. N ofc watching vids of it beating other cars so easily plus the owner sounds like a douche bag.

I remember the guy in the Red GTR admitting in a different video that he had lied about how much power he was making. He was telling people he only made 1300 when he eventually admitted to making over 2,000.
If you can find that video, I'll shoot you $100 via cashapp/zelle. The car was making ~13-1400whp here.. later he made 1660whp. I think what you're referring to is when we went to TX last year and they were saying he was making 2000whp+ and he showed them he only had 6 injectors and if you know, you know that to make 2000+ you need 12 injectors.

Gtr won the traction battle. You can tell the Viper is the much faster car though by the way it instantly stopped the GTR’s pull and started gaining once its tires hooked. A car can’t do that if it’s not making massive power.
At the end of the day it run wut you brung so Viper lost period. Shouldn’t be trying to run 1800hp on street much less with inferior rubber.

Much respect to the GTR owner for the CAR but as for the owner, he jumps in virtually every race in every video out there, doesn't like to race cars that have the correct set up on them(tires) cause he knows those Vipers will roll on him when they hook on slicks.
Now, if the Texas 2k would be FAIR and not give the advantage to the UGR guys, I think this GTR would do some serious damage there

The nitrous hit on top of turbos mixed with good traction can't be beaten. I'm surprised people aren't running dual nitrous/turbo setups. That red gtr is a killer combo
Majority of people run nitrous on all types of boosted applications. On blowers to cool down the charge air and make more power and on turbocharged setups to help spool up larger turbos instantly. On this race he didn't have nitrous but now he does and it's a lot lol.

No, the race was already over by that time. This is not a 2 mile race. It's by MPH 60-180 or 60-200. Both cars get there very fast. Viper had traction issues so by the time he recovered it was over.

Btw, this vid is like a year old he had much smaller turbos so no, he wasn't making 2000whp and he's not even making 2000 now.. he makes mid 1700whp.. basically at the limit with 6 injectors.

That thing pulls like no other car i ever seen, it sounds like a blowtorch or flamethrower or something...
Traction control doesn't make noise unless it's a soft limiter in which it'll sound like the car is misfiring/breaking up. What you're hearing is 512+ cubic inches trying to make it out of a 3" tube along with the wastegates dumping massive amounts of exhaust gas. Feel free to look for some videos of these cars at the track. Same sound.. not to mention these V10's have a weird exhaust sound to begin with.

You should've seen the elaborate excuse they came up with. They claimed that SOMEBODY at the meet up spot took his map sensor off of the intake. A threaded sensor that screws into the intake manifold. With a group of about 15 of us surrounding the car. Yup. Makes total sense.

low roll was not good for the viper, viper was late on all runs, no need for anti lag from that speed especially for rear wheel drive car with that amount hp, that viper need sharp mind drive to jump on time, never roll race at that low speed, i have no doubt if that roll was 80mph result will be different big time, either way nice race congrats to the gtr, hard luck to the viper
it is not the power itself but where in the rpms the gtr is making that hp. those high reving dohc motors do everything at higher rpms on the cost of less durability . if i had one of those at least for a while i would keep it stock

Viper is on a 15" setup now. As for the civic, gotta remember it's a 2000lb AWD cemented block, runs on alcohol, strain gauged, 1500+whp tuna can. Hard to beat. Both are my buddies and I had no dog in the fight but both cars are stupid fast.
