Out of the games that I've seen between these 2, this one was definitely the most intense.
It seemed like the Mustang's quarterback was slacking during the first half though.

I wonder why this game was so much more heated. Probably because it was a playoff game and more evenly matched as opposed to their last meet
they see each other in district and NS blew them apart this year. This is already a heated rivalry between these 2. Not to mention Summer Creek who is now in the 6A-D2 semi's also is in that district. So much talent sitting in that D. I think NS came into this game thinking they were just gonna blow them up with little effort... they slacked hard in the first half. If they're running full capacity and like dawgs - no one in state will touch them.

He led North Shore to their 5th and most recent state title in 2021 against Duncanville as a FRESHMAN, let that sink in for a minute.
The following season, he suffered a torn ACL during a regular season home game against the C.E. King Panthers.
His replacement David Amador managed to get the Mustangs to state but they weren't quite as effective against Duncanville as they would've been with Kaleb Bailey as QB.
This is a good game to get them boys ready for state not a easy win real work so by time they play Duncanville they gone be ready Duncanville played Westfield ez win no real work
