Jong Kra Ben/Chong Kben is a unisex, lower body, wraparound cloth worn in the countries of Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. It was the preferred choice of clothing for women of upper and middle classes for daily wear.

this is more like for a show making it look neat at all time or some sort of performing . normally they just tie a knot on the front , fold the extra fabric pull it under through the back then fold in inside the waist line no need to do all that .

Good luck going to the toilet after the sewing and all. Must be for some sort of performance rather than demonstrating what people wear in the past.

you right . the way he did that for it to look neat at all time . normally they just tie a small knot by the belly the extra fabric they just fold it , pull it under through the back then fold it inside the waist line .
