Return them to Africa where they belong. I grew up in Gambia and we enjoyed them during the rainy season when they come to breed. I never see anyone disturb them.
What a rediculous notion keeping these birds in a such a small cage. These birds, if they are rare where you are, ought to be in a well planted aviary. They will not breed in a cane nest, preferring to build a very intricate nest of long grasses. I wish you well with them, but you really ought to consider something larger & do some research so enjoy the most of them.
Love the contrast

👍👍👍👍👏
I just came home with a pair of the weaver finches from "Father Fish" in Venice, Florida. They look so healthy.
Why did my male orange weaver finch molt and change color to brown and tail a dark orange?
I’ll have you know that this building burned down. Most animals made it, few fish died. Songbird Gifts and Rachel Rene’s got smoke damage.
what size cage is this?
I have a pair too their beautiful birds. Have your ever bred for you!
We have an orange weaver finch we got several years ago.
