You can't just tell someone you should be over it - regardless if she was in a new relationship quickly after. People need time to process and not everyone is the same. One person could take a few days and be over it, some people might still not feel the ramifications of it just right away, and some take a while to get over it.

I think he was talking about how the whole cast (minus Katie) flipped on Ariana and seemed to be siding with Sandoval.
I thought he meant that Ariana walked off. I thought it was kind of planned for Ariana and Tom to have a conversation for the finale, but she wasn't having it. So this was the plot twist.. my interpretation anyways.

No actually she wasn’t. You might need to re-watch that season if that’s the impression you got, but that’s not who Tom was cheating on Kristen with and Kristen was also cheating on Tom.
Was Tom hitting on Ariana? Probably we know he’s a scumbag now but that doesn’t mean Ariana went for it. She didn’t get with Tom until after Kristen was caught cheating.

Sandoval doesn't know how to be real anymore. He's lost in his narcissism. We get glimpses of his vulnerability here but his narcissistic defence mechanisms will always take over. Watching this again, production did give Ariana the last word in that clip and I guess they were trying to be balanced given the pressure from the cast to make her have a showdown with Tom. She is wise to Tom's narcissism but she gave them what they wanted.
