    When I first tried them on, the boots pressed a bit in the side heel area. Do the boots expand in this area when worn?

      I suggest trying another boot! Try so many, until you find the correct one! No pressing in any area!
      I do not know about full leather boots: They may adapt to the foot, but all others like GTX/Goretex/or what membran ever, I would say no.
      There is a pair of boots that will fit your foot!

      @@sierra.romeo.adventures Thanks for the quick reply. I'm old school and prefer leather. And the search for a very robust boot continues.

      @@mutaketo you are welcome, in case of full leather boots, I suggest to surf the internet for more information and then to visit one or more professional local stores. A professional store needs min. 20 to 30 minutes to explain the details of leather boots to you. If it is less, it is questionable if they have the right experiences or know how. And they usually have a story about a hike they fucked up with rain, snow, etc. If you feel comfortable with the local shop and they took enough time for you and they have your shoe, buy it there please. You can also try a civil version and ask if they can order the military version, usually they can order it for you. Discuss with them If they can check, that the mil version has the same fitting as the civil version. ;) Hope you find the right boots for you!

    Hello, you still have no problem with the soles? THANKS

    • @sierra.romeo.adventures
      @sierra.romeo.adventures Рік тому

      Hello! No, the soles are still fine on the new pair. But 2 years have passed, and they started to leak again on the seam at the bottom of the tong. Where our natural movement bends the boot on each step. Let me know if I could help you!

    Jo how are these boots in very hot weather?

    • @sierra.romeo.adventures
      @sierra.romeo.adventures Рік тому

      Well! They are warm, there is nothing on that. But at least, this is a heavy combat boot for maximum protection and a touch to mountaineering. So might not be the best choice for very hot weather. For some uses in summer, there is nothing to complain about. Also on the Berget in Sweden, I wore it for 4 days in, well, some hot weather. Sure not the hottest days in my life. You do of course sweat and if you use socks made of fabrics you start to smell disgusting. I suggest wool socks. Especially the ones from Varusteleka.

      Thanks for your Feedback! My goal is not to waste your time! ;) I did slow down a bit in the newer videos. They are mostly on airsoft topics. Thanks for your feedback!
