As a bears fan it was a combo of what you said and freaking out because we made the Super Bowl… in the bottom left corner of the screen when they were showing all time sacks
Ah yes, last year the Vikings made the Superbowl in similar fashion, showing the most number of Championship game appearances without winning a Superbowl. You see, the Bengals had three (now four) AFC Championship game appearances without ever winning the Superbowl. The Vikings were the lead in that category, with 9 NFC championship appearances, and no rings. What is even more amazing is the Vikings were 4-0 in NFC championship games until I was born, and have been 0-5 since.

As a Chiefs fan I really don't understand why everyone blames the refs when we win. I mean come on its not that hard to send in your own payments to try and get the calls. All you have to do is send in more money then Chiefs fans and your all set.
@@matthewcrispinwordofGod instead of giving the credits credit for the adjustments they had. Jonathan Gannon’s defense got schooled by Andy Reid, and Eric Bieniemy. Shane Steichen’s offense used all their plays in the 1st half apparently. The Chiefs played a nearly perfect 2nd half that’s why they won the Super Bowl. Also there was missed DPI that easily could have changed the game into the Chiefs favor a lot earlier.

@@matthewcrispinwordofGod As a Lions fan, from what I can tell, it's the questionable calls that decide the game. As a Lions fan having multiple TD's taken away and still coming back to win is what needs to be done. Overcoming multiple pass interference calls where the receiver isn't touched is needed. Being able to win with every call going against you because of League bias is needed. Get 70 years of being treated like the ugly duckling and overcome that. Earn it.

This is the first Super Bowl I didn't even watch since 1995. That's how bitter I felt, even though I have no ill will towards the Chiefs, Mahomes or Chiefs fans (most of them are pretty cool dudes who give Allen props, they just know they have it better).
Just got finished putting up with 2 decades of Brady, now it feels like we're about to see that playout all over again... Whether they actually win or not, it's clear the Chiefs will be representing the AFC in the SB pretty often.

1:13 The moment that the game ended, the actual Bears app sent out a notification that read "It is official: The Chicago Bears are now on the clock" and I immediately forgot about the phenomenal game that was just played. @@slash2456 I've been mentioning it ALL DAY. Insane how easily people forget that that final penalty wouldn't have even mattered if not for the other blown calls.
@@mrrebourne First, the fumble was NOT a fumble, he was hit when the ball got there and never had a chance to gain control of it. Second, the call at the end was the right call, the player involved even admitted that he held him.

Bro I’m a Chiefs fan and I’ve never experienced something like last night. I was euphoric but I was also heartbroken for Jason Kelce. The Eagles played out of their minds last night. Hurts was a monster. I never want to see another qb sneak. I think I have ptsd 😂
@@zachmcmahan8481 Gannon’s secondary has been a liability all year. I knew Mahomes would be able to pick that a part but never in my wildest dreams did I think he would NOT blitz. It just sucks the game had to end on a penalty instead of Hurts getting one more shot. Is what is. Enjoy it and see you in the regular season
@@douglasschultz9808 Yeah a lot of teams are scared to blitz Mahomes because he usually shreds it up but they should have probably tried to get more pressure especially with Mahomes injured. As a Bengals fan I had that exact reaction. James Bradberry and Logan Wilson are the same person now.
I’m sad it ended it the way it did. We had such a great season and then Jonathan Gannon let us down. I’m proud of our team though. Fly Eagles Fly 🦅! Also, I was lucky enough to be there and your impression of the Broncos fan was spot-on. As we were leaving me and my friends saw a Broncos fan who was there screaming and cursing about how we couldn’t beat Mahomes so now this is how it’s always going to be 😂

The Lions have like around the 9th best odds to win the next Super Bowl. We're somehow the favorites to win the North. The last time we won the division, 30 years ago in 1993, it was called the NFC Central. As a Lions fan, I am scared. Having expectations is uncharted territory.

The "Ref" rence at the end! Any ref can call a million penalties, but an MVP Super Bowl Ref knows it's not about quantity, it's about quality.

If Chiefs hadn't won (and I have no horse in that race) I'd been fuming. Holdings not called and a fumble that was a TD cancelled + more, was just too much "blindside" by the refs. Some wishywashy calls going Chiefs way at the end didn't make it better.
@@naynaynay324 If refs don't call holdings early in the game, they shouldn't suddenly start calling them in the 4th quarter. Now, I'm a baseball umpire, but 'consistency' is a thing they drill into all sports officials. If they fail to call holding for one side, they need to do it for the both sides for the rest of the game unless the penalty is blatantly obvious.
That non-fumble was an incomplete pass, please stop trying to claim it wasn't.
Thing that frustrates me most is the game had gone relatively well in terms of non-refball issues (Chiefs still would've won imo given the momentum was completely in their favor), but now it'll be remembered because of shoddy ref calls by most people outside of the Chiefs fanbase.
As a Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and Eagles fan, that Pittsburgh Steelers comment hit deeply.. Guess the Pirates and Penguins can't be happy too..

Seahawks fan here, that stadium isn’t just cursed for super bowls. It’s just cursed period. Every time we play there we have a major injury. Richard Sherman played his last game for us there, Kam Chancellor played his last game for us there, Earl Thomas played his last game for us there.
