The error message "ESP ABS Assisted Direction Default" on your Mercedes W204 model 2009 indicates a problem with the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) system. The error code 5001 is likely related to this issue. Possible solutions include checking the ABS pump and module, inspecting sensors and wiring, resetting the system, and updating software. It is best to have a professional mechanic diagnose and repair the issue to ensure the proper functioning of your vehicle's ESP and ABS systems.
