Anytime your battery starts getting pulled down, suspect the starter because it may have a shorted winding and that is a direct short to ground and can discharge a battery pretty fast. I also had my electrical system checked at Honda, today, and everything is OK. I did replace the battery in my CRV last month. I also upgraded it from a Type 35 to a Type 51R. This increased my CCA from 350 amps to over 500 cold cranking amps, a good improvement.
I've got a very similar problem with my 2015 CRV. It's not that it won't crank ever. It's that it sometimes will and sometimes won't. It may start the very first time, or it may take 30 attempts. This is not what I expected of a relatively new Honda. Since when do you have to replace a starter in anything every few years? I've never had to replace a starter ever on any other car. And I suspect I don't on this either. I bet it's more related to a relay or solenoid. But where is the competent mechanic that actually knows? And where is Honda on this apparent flaw?
Hold the remote next to the start button as you push it(don't forget to push the brake pedal at the same time). That is what worked for me with this same situation. I changed the battery in the remote and had no more problems. My 2015 CRV is all stock and the remote battery was only 6 months old when this happened.
I got my starting problems fixed, today, at my Honda dealership. It was the starter, a bad winding. It was like playing Russian roulette with the starter. If the starter stopped on the bad winding it would not start. If it stopped on a good part of the winding it started as normal. Mine had the same symptoms as yours - Click and nothing. I had a brand new Honda starter put in. It was pricy but it is fixed now.
After replacing my battery the radio and info display had no power. I have a CR-V 2015. In my case it was a bad 10 amp fuse labeled Back Up - in the fuse block under the hood, bad and the CR-V would not start. I believe a starter fues or relay may also cause a no start issue.
My Honda CRV 2015 does the same thing, took to service center to see if it is battery issue but battery was good. And they claim to perform complete electric inspection to find the root cause. I will post if at all my problem solved.
Any updates my cars shut down three times in the last two days. Took it to auto zone they plugged it up to the machine and said the battery and alternator is fine. They did suggest i take it to Honda because it might be a fuse or electrical problems
@@Kia805 Yeah took my car to the Honda dealer and they confirmed that it’s a starter fault. After replacing the starter my problem got resolved. My car put on only 51k miles and it’s unfortunate that a key component failed. Dealer says more problem with CRVs and Accord vehicles, overall it costed me $947 to fix ☹️
Love ❤️ your voice man sound like a handsome stud sucks your crv is giving you some trouble hopefully you don’t have any more issues sexy no disrespect tho

Keep simple, a lot talking
So much talking
A lot of useless talking too

Hondas are known to have issues with their starters....
But it could be something else like a loose wire or loose or dirty battery terminals.
Recently encountered a similar problem that u describe with my 2015 CRV. It's early in the diagnosis process & my guess is a module is going bad.
I solved problems with start. Is very simply. If battery is ok check starter relay . This realy is located in the wheel arch on the driver's side.
same!! how to fix??

Waste of time

crap... this sounds a lot like my issue
@@nss2vprez save $900 plus change for a new Honda starter!
Did you solve it, what was the issue?
Dude, how u gonna end the video with a AAA tow truck.. 😂. U did have some good info .. keep practicing
So how did you solve the issue? What is the problem why it does not start.
So what did was the problem
Annoying
What is your video for?
OMG I have the same problem and it's a Honda crv 2015.
same!!! so frustrated
Did you ever get your starter fixed
@@Mag-g5s , Yes, they replaced my starter with a new one.
@@manoyclarkhonda dealler asked around 12 hundreds dollars for installing a new starter. Is this reasonable¿
@@ayymmansayed that's way over priced. It is a difficult job if it's all wheel drive, but not 1200 dollars difficult.
Still waiting to fix the problem !
Don’t talk as much plz

Very bad at getting to the point. Shorten it up a little bit.
My car cranks but does not start replaced both fuel pumps, started for a day or two now it won’t start for shit. It just cranks no start.
Check your crankshaft sensor (CKP) usually when it’s a crank no start it is possibly your CKP sensor
What's the point of making the video??
Is this video a troll video?
