This really helped me make some blankets to give out to cousins and sell. I'm a beginner sewer so I actually use flannel instead of minky. I use ty critters, that I look for at local thrift stores, and I also found that the lil webkinz are the same size and work well too. P.S you're a really funny lady
Hello! I found your vlog and I am now trying to make a couple of these for my grand babes. I am using elephants for the head and bottom. I am wondering what shape I could use for the "body" of the blanket to make it look more like an elephants body? Any ideas would be SO appreciated. Thanks for this, I LOVE the blankets!
Hello everyone- To make this blanket, you can use lots of different types of purchased stuffed animals or brands...or you can use a handmade stuffed animal --- We don't have the kits any longer. But you can still use this idea. Thanks!
May I ask where you buy the Ty Critters? Also, is that an official Ty name for the size of animals you like to use? I looked on EBay after watching your video and didn't have a lot of luck specifically finding Ty Critters... Thanks, Teresa
Thank you so much! I was able to creat one for my twin (she is expecting) I love it! I made mines with Winnie the Pooh theme. I used a small musical Winnie the Pooh. It's much smaller than the TY. I just made the binky smaller :) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! I'm going to be making more I. The future.
