Personally, I think the best things about their commercials are the beautifully written lyrics by Hibba Hamadah. it airs everywhere Zain operates: Kuwait, Jordan, Sudan, Morocco, Libya, etc. however, due to Saudi pressure it has been stopped and most people saw it online or in whatsapp. the Saudis accused it of having Iranian/Muslim brotherhood influence which can only mean Saudis have become pro Israeli. the only real criticism of the video is the ending: why are only gulf men liberating Palestine? where are the Muslims from other Arab and non Arab countries and where are the women? anyway it's a great video that served its purpose. it renewed hope in our hearts.
The "capital of Palestine" part is so powerful, not just because of the way it refers to Jerusalem, but the girl in the jail. Why would you want Jerusalem as capital and why does a capital mean so much? To me the word "home" has a lot of meaning. The word capital means something among the lines of biggest city of a country or a touristic place. The Dutch government and political power is not in Amsterdam. And the king that stood up for the Dutch against his oppressive brother had a thing for changing the national capital. He changed it twice in one year. Dare say if he would have been on that throne for a longer period of time, he would have chosen one in all of the provinces. It was an anti-climax to hear him describe all this thing with emotions... and Jerusalem get "capital"? The pictures remained powerful, I thank you for explaining the scene with the little girl.
MissMoontree I understand, and completely agree with what you're saying, but I pointed out that line mainly because I meant it as the part to look out for in regards to what I was referring to (about Ahed Tamimi) as the little girl shows up when that line is said. It wasn't to do with the meaning of the lyric itself, but the scene where the lyric is said, if that makes sense. And you're welcome, of course.

They release these kinds of commercials every year, and Kuwait is one of the largest supporters of world peace and largest advocates of freedom of speech in the GCC, which is why controversial commercials like these roam freely in the country but is not allowed elsewhere like Saudi Arabia.
Just for the music part, it’s not like we can’t listen to music, but it’s more of a personal choice, just to focus more on ones self and reconnecting with god and people around us and do more charity work, in all to have more time to do good in this world, but also there are a lot who listen to music, not that big of a deal.

Just for the music part, it’s not like we can’t listen to music, but it’s more of a personal choice, just to focus more on ones self and reconnecting with god and people around us and do more charity work, in all to have more time to do good in this world, but also there are a lot who listen to music, not that big of a deal.

أصلا الحياة حرام، لأننا ببقائنا على قيد الحياة فنحن أكثر عرضة للوقوع في الحرام أليس كذلك ؟! اخواني...معظم أدلة تحريم الموسيقى و الغناء ضعيفة و تفتقر للمنطق و تصل في بعض الأحيان لحد الاستخفاف بالعقول و استحمارها مع احترامي الشديد للمصادر من علماء و رواة و صحابة. و ان كانت بعض الأحاديث و التفسيرات العقلانية تشير إلى تحريم نوع معين من الموسيقى و هو كل ما صاحبه عري و سكر و فجور و غيرها من المعاصي التي و بالفعل يشجع هذا النوع من الموسيقى على القيام بها لكن لن تقنعوني بأن أغاني الحب الصافي أو الأغاني الحربية و الحماسية أو الرياضية أو الكرتونية و الوطنية تحرض على الفحشاء و المنكر 😑😑 . الأمر كأنه خلط بين تحريم الخمر و تحريم باقي المشروبات و السوائل بما في ذلك الماء !! قالوا عن الغناء أنه يقسي القلوب و العكس هو الصحيح بل أن مناظر الحروب و المجازر التي نشاهدها يوميا قد جعلت قلوبنا أقسى من الحجر، ثم ناقضوا أنفسهم و قالوا لا، الغناء يجعل قلب المؤمن رهيفا و حساسا طيب، ألم يعلمونا بأن سيد الخلق عليه أفضل الصلوات قد كان رهيف القلب و طيبا لدرجة لا توصف ؟! قالوا الغناء يلهي عن ذكر الله...بالله عليكم هل هذه حجة تجادلون بها أشخاصا لديهم عقول و بعض العلم ؟! من كان يحب الله فلن يلهيه عنه شيء غير الموت و من كان لا يحبه فسيلهيه حتى النوم عن ذكر الله. ملاحظة أخيرة قبل أن تبدؤا في شتمي و تكفيري...كلما أجد نفسي قد قصرت في العبادة او بدأت أنساق لطريق الخطيئة أستمع الى أغنية " محتاجلك يا رب " للمطرب سمسم شهاب فأبكي طول الليل لأستيقض و أنا مرتاح نفسيا و قد طردت كل الأفكار الشيطانية من عقلي. كنت قد مررت بمرحلة جعلتني أعاني نفسيا لدرجة الدخول في بداية اكتئاب و بدات تراودني ميول انتحارية و شفيت تماما بالاستعانة بالصلاة اولا و بأغنية " أحلام " للمتألقة اليمنية ايمي هيتاري..أتمنى أن تكون الرسالة قد وصلت. دمتم في رعاية الله و حفظه
