There should be one app for all this indian products,so that it will be easy for us to purchase. Going to individual sites and purchasing with a limit for free shipping restricts lot of people to even search much.
Just what I was thinking of. It's too much to individually visit each and every website to check out their products. One App is the need. If more Indian Companies are launching skincare and make up products, they too will get them registered it in that very app.
I also tried Juicy chemistry under eye cream, but my dark circles increased. I was so so disappointed. Then I started using mamaearth under eye cream, it showed results. But yes Juicy chemistry Bulgarian rose water, I loved it...

I can’t see it in the Exhaustive ingredient list, except the guesswork that it comes from Willow Bark.The concentration of salicylic acid is not specified. I think it was a gimmick that is just aesthetically pleasing

Hi! I do try to consume a lot of products that are made in India. But with respect to these skincare brands, may I know if all of these brands have an actual license to sell? (Complying to the drugs and cosmetics act of 1940). Pls do reply
Ma'am many consumers don't know what questions to ask these brands. The few people who have some knowledge of this industry and who know what kind of licenses are required, are the only ones who know what questions to ask. What about the rest, who have no clue about what all legal requirements are even needed? It's not possible to expect an average consumer to get this kind of information from brands. The brands either block us for asking such questions, or give answers like we are home made products, so don't need manufacturing licenses, only msme license (which is untrue). Whereas, influencers like yourself, have the wherewithal (be it checking with the brands who approach you directly, or through your PR and legal teams) to get this kind of info.
In India it’s total BS actually. Many big ones have bought their certifications. Many that claim to be natural but isn’t. One of the biggest online brand does this .

Bought the Earth Rythm murumuru butter shampoo bar and their conditioner on your recommendation and I'm pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much. Initially it was a little difficult to wash off the heavy hair oils but soon started washing my hair twice and they work like magic. Thank you so, so much!
We are highly forced to use foreign products...becoz they have good quality... But love that fact that our indian products for skincare... are really putting their feet forward to give our indians real, pure,economy and yet effective.... Tried Suganda skincare... Not gonna purchase it again.. I discovered conscious Chemist, and I must say their facial cleanser and cream are heaven for my dry mature skin..
Made in India is such a natural call , you have always been an advocate for these swadeshi brands.I do find that a lot of these swadeshi brands need to step up their game and I think they will once they have a big market to cater too

How many of these brands have manufacturing license? I understand you want to support and promote Indian brands but I can't trust brands who don't have license because it's basically illegal. I want to know if the products are being regulated and tested. Please reply soon.
Yeah same thoughts.. because I tried many of these brands and they were horrible.. also my friends experienced the same.. earlier I trusted you tubers and purchased these products. But I realized most of those products are useless..

When a brand obtains license, you are sure that the govt is checking and testing their products but those who don't, how can be we sure their products won't harm our skin or something worse? There are tons of small homegrown brands, I'd love to support them if they do it legally, professionally and ethically!

@@ShwetaVijay ma'am, respectfully, I don't think that you have posted the video with lack of research, but this is something that needs to be addressed as well, besides product efficacy. And like I mentioned elsewhere, yes, some of us have asked these questions to brands, and either have not received any replies or gotten blocked or been told that they don't need manufacturing licenses. We are not influencers so we cannot do much with this information, except stop buying from such brands. On the other hand, it's influencers like you, who can bring such issues to light.

I am immensely happy to find out the Indian brands which are not just that but have women as employers and employees as well. This will actually have beautiful economic impact in our society. Don't mean to hate or discourage anyone, but how many of these brands actually have a license to manufacture skincare products? I mean, selling diy concoctions in pretty packaging isn't the same as being a serious skincare brand right?
@@ShwetaVijay Ma'am, I shall not be pointing out any particular brand here, since my intention is not to start drama or spread hate. I'm speaking from a consumer's perspective. Your list mentions brands like Earth Rhythm, a licensed manufacturer whose products I've tried and loved. But there are many indie brands that operate without a manufacturing license. I will obviously do my own research into the brand and the products they offer before making a purchase, but please consider mentioning to your viewers that brands have to have a license to formulate and sell cosmetic products. You've given a lot of us a treasure trove of knowledge about Indian skincare brands and it's something I appreciate a lot, but someone like you holding brands accountable would also encourage them to get a license.
I highly agree with@@padmini12341. Unless we don't hold them accountable, they won't take licensing and testing seriously as they should. I mean we wouldn't want to put makeup on our faces unless it's from a proper cosmetic brand right? Then the same should be applied to skincare brands as well. Also, please know that this is coming from a good place Shweta. We love you and your content but things like these need your attention as you have many viewers who blindly go by your recommendations.
Ma'am, I know of atleast one brand from the ones you have mentioned, that doesn't have a licence. Like the comment above said, I do not want to create unnecessary drama. However, I have the utmost respect for you and look up to you to do some research before recommending some of these indie brands. As an influencer who's known to be very honest with her recommendations, that's the least we followers can expect.
@@padmini12341 no you're right ... and it is the right question to ask... but not only to the UA-camr but to the brands as well whenever a consumer wants to buy a product. I know 15 of them have a registered license ( and I know many brands that do not have that permission yet )and 14 of them have the manufacturing license too and also their manufacturing is gmp compliant. For example conscious chemist holds a license from drugs control department as well. But like you said in my next video and going forward I will also mention each brand and their permission stamp to give more clarity. Also do understand there are many small indie brands that are simply fabulous but do not have the funds for a manufacturing unit. They have their licence registered and require our support(influencers) to try and test them. I call them hidden gems that need to be given a chance to become successful and known. That is why I try to help out as much only after they have their registered licence in place. But I promise going forward I will give you all more clarity on the smallest of start up and their permission and the big ones certification so that you can buy/ support using your own discretion. Fair enough? Hope this answer satisfies you also for now @manjulapuranik @talatnoorsheikh and @rutujadicholkar . Will give info going forward in my videos :)

After reading lot many hyped reviews about goat milk shampoo and cream conditioner. I finally bought it - my hair are wavy and gets frizzy but they are not damaged. You can see in the picture what the shampoo did to my hair. They are limp and sticky. I never have to detangle my hair - even after shampooing, it let them get dry without combing. Once completed dried I can simply use my fingers to manage them. But this shampoo made them tangle and stick with each other. I don't know why this product is so hyped. And they don't let me put s negative comment on the website.

I just saw some top comments doubting the authenticity of Indian brand in terms of quality, license etc. I am sure they are just deprived of the supper effects of the products you talked about. I have all the 3 recommendation from Suganda and my skin is thanking me after 6 months of it's usage. Suganda antioxidant and face wash is to die for. Next I was already using pahadilocal markalak and gutti ka tel is in my wishlist. I have tried imported, certified, licence blab.. blab korean, UK products and they were only worth dustbin. They have just ruined my skin. Indian skin care are market leaders and is able to compete and even stand better than many market manufacturer. I have replaced all my stuff with Indian brands except Kiehl's moisturizer and everybody who meets me or see me through a video call says...what is the magic I have done to my skin. I can talk unlimited about the awesomeness of Made in India products. I definitely cannot try all but most of them are promising and worth investment. Suganda, pahadilocal, Forest Essential, sheesha, juicy Chemistry are the best these days. Sorry again who could not choose the right products as per their skin.....hope your video help them :)

Thankyou for introducing me to Shesha beauty's Devathali shampoo...I had been on a look out for a decent shampoo that was chemical free ...and I loved it ...only issue is its availability . I also tried Juicy Chemistry's Helichrysum serum for my scars ( acne n chicken pox ) ..sadly it didn't work at all... I have been using it since 3 months ! Now trying Sugandha's WLM and AO serum since last 15 days ..AO serum is fine ...but WLM again hasn't worked for me ...found it to be sticky on my skin !

from what I have researched they do but you must ask the question directly to the brand as well so that you will believe it with your own eyes :)
Ma'am many consumers don't know what questions to ask these brands. The few people who have some knowledge of this industry and who know what kind of licenses are required, are the only ones who know what questions to ask. What about the rest, who have no clue about what all legal requirements are even needed? It's not possible to expect an average consumer to get this kind of information from brands. The brands either block us for asking such questions, or give answers like we are home made products, so don't need manufacturing licenses, only msme license (which is untrue). Whereas, influencers like yourself, have the wherewithal (be it checking with the brands who approach you directly, or through your PR and legal teams) to get this kind of info.

In India it’s total BS actually. Many big ones have bought their certifications. Many that claim to be natural but isn’t. One of the biggest online brand does this .

Bought the Earth Rythm murumuru butter shampoo bar and their conditioner on your recommendation and I'm pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much. Initially it was a little difficult to wash off the heavy hair oils but soon started washing my hair twice and they work like magic. Thank you so, so much!
We are highly forced to use foreign products...becoz they have good quality... But love that fact that our indian products for skincare... are really putting their feet forward to give our indians real, pure,economy and yet effective.... Looking forward to use more indian brands.. Tht come under my budget..

I discovered conscious Chemist, and I must say their facial cleanser and cream are heaven for my dry mature skin..
Made in India is such a natural call , you have always been an advocate for these swadeshi brands.I do find that a lot of these swadeshi brands need to step up their game and I think they will once they have a big market to cater too
Seriously it was so easier back in those days... just a face cream and sunscreen and water and coconut oil mist my mom used to make to hydrate your skin... that was it...so many brands, so many trends, so much chemicals...i really want to go back to my roots...

How many of these brands have manufacturing license? I understand you want to support and promote Indian brands but I can't trust brands who don't have license because it's basically illegal. I want to know if the products are being regulated and tested. Please reply soon.
Yeah same thoughts.. because I tried many of these brands and they were horrible.. also my friends experienced the same.. earlier I trusted you tubers and purchased these products. But I realized most of those products are useless..

When a brand obtains license, you are sure that the govt is checking and testing their products but those who don't, how can be we sure their products won't harm our skin or something worse? There are tons of small homegrown brands, I'd love to support them if they do it legally, professionally and ethically!

And like I mentioned elsewhere, yes, some of us have asked these questions to brands, and either have not received any replies or gotten blocked or been told that they don't need manufacturing licenses. We are not influencers so we cannot do much with this information, except stop buying from such brands. On the other hand, it's influencers like you, who can bring such issues to light.

I am immensely happy to find out the Indian brands which are not just that but have women as employers and employees as well. This will actually have beautiful economic impact in our society. Don't mean to hate or discourage anyone, but how many of these brands actually have a license to manufacture skincare products? I mean, selling diy concoctions in pretty packaging isn't the same as being a serious skincare brand right?

@@ShwetaVijay Ma'am, I shall not be pointing out any particular brand here, since my intention is not to start drama or spread hate. I'm speaking from a consumer's perspective. Your list mentions brands like Earth Rhythm, a licensed manufacturer whose products I've tried and loved. But there are many indie brands that operate without a manufacturing license. I will obviously do my own research into the brand and the products they offer before making a purchase, but please consider mentioning to your viewers that brands have to have a license to formulate and sell cosmetic products. You've given a lot of us a treasure trove of knowledge about Indian skincare brands and it's something I appreciate a lot, but someone like you holding brands accountable would also encourage them to get a license.
I highly agree with@@padmini12341. Unless we don't hold them accountable, they won't take licensing and testing seriously as they should. I mean we wouldn't want to put makeup on our faces unless it's from a proper cosmetic brand right? Then the same should be applied to skincare brands as well. Also, please know that this is coming from a good place Shweta. We love you and your content but things like these need your attention as you have many viewers who blindly go by your recommendations.
Ma'am, I know of atleast one brand from the ones you have mentioned, that doesn't have a licence. Like the comment above said, I do not want to create unnecessary drama. However, I have the utmost respect for you and look up to you to do some research before recommending some of these indie brands. As an influencer who's known to be very honest with her recommendations, that's the least we followers can expect.
@@padmini12341 no you're right ... and it is the right question to ask... but not only to the UA-camr but to the brands as well whenever a consumer wants to buy a product. I know 15 of them have a registered license ( and I know many brands that do not have that permission yet )and 14 of them have the manufacturing license too and also their manufacturing is gmp compliant. For example conscious chemist holds a license from drugs control department as well. But like you said in my next video and going forward I will also mention each brand and their permission stamp to give more clarity. Also do understand there are many small indie brands that are simply fabulous but do not have the funds for a manufacturing unit. They have their licence registered and require our support(influencers) to try and test them. I call them hidden gems that need to be given a chance to become successful and known. That is why I try to help out as much only after they have their registered licence in place. But I promise going forward I will give you all more clarity on the smallest of start up and their permission and the big ones certification so that you can buy/ support using your own discretion. Fair enough?

My only question is about the licensing. I know that Juicy Chemistry has a license but many homegrown brands do mot have proper licensed. I've tried earthrythm alpha arbutin, it didn't work for me, made my skin dull, but their fruit cleansing balm is awesome.
After reading lot many hyped reviews about goat milk shampoo and cream conditioner. I finally bought it - my hair are wavy and gets frizzy but they are not damaged. You can see in the picture what the shampoo did to my hair. They are limp and sticky. I never have to detangle my hair - even after shampooing, it let them get dry without combing. Once completed dried I can simply use my fingers to manage them. But this shampoo made them tangle and stick with each other. I don't know why this product is so hyped. And they don't let me put s negative comment on the website.

My dear ❤️☺️. I just saw some top comments doubting the authenticity of Indian brand in terms of quality, license etc. I am sure they are just deprived of the supper effects of the products you talked about. I have all the 3 recommendation from Suganda and my skin is thanking me after 6 months of it's usage. Suganda antioxidant and face wash is to die for. Next I was already using pahadilocal markalak and gutti ka tel is in my wishlist. I have tried imported, certified, licence blab.. blab korean, UK products and they were only worth dustbin. They have just ruined my skin. Indian skin care are market leaders and is able to compete and even stand better than many market manufacturer. I have replaced all my stuff with Indian brands except Kiehl's moisturizer and everybody who meets me or see me through a video call says...what is the magic I have done to my skin. I can talk unlimited about the awesomeness of Made in India products. I definitely cannot try all but most of them are promising and worth investment. Suganda, pahadilocal, Forest Essential, sheesha, juicy Chemistry are the best these days. Sorry again who could not choose the right products as per their skin.....hope your video help them :)

Thankyou for introducing me to Shesha beauty's Devathali shampoo...I had been on a look out for a decent shampoo that was chemical free ...and I loved it ...only issue is its availability . I also tried Juicy Chemistry's Helichrysum serum for my scars ( acne n chicken pox ) ..sadly it didn't work at all... I have been using it since 3 months ! Now trying Sugandha's WLM and AO serum since last 15 days ..AO serum is fine ...but WLM again hasn't worked for me ...found it to be sticky on my skin !
