The . Greatest . Songwriter . On . The . Planet. Right . Now .
This guys songs cut right to the core and get down to the essentials : the loneliness of the human condition and how we cope with it. Sublime.
&LoveForAll He’s great. But is he better than Willy Vlautin, or John Darnielle, or Josh Ritter, or James McMurtry or....
I like all those , but at this moment i think so. Willys legendary in my eyes but the latest Delines is a slight let down . I had McMurtry on yesterday funnily enough , Complicated Game. Superb.
PS Molina was my hero..............
&LoveForAll It is so intensely gratifying to see somebody else say this. It can feel like a lonely opinion. Although John Darnielle is a close second...
saw him tonight in the PHILLY area . I agree with you 100% but there was less then 300 people there. I was like WTF. deserves so much more respect
I cried
I really just love this song so much. Craig Finn inspires my UA-cam channel in a lot of ways.
Listening to Craig's monologue here during the COVID-19 crisis makes me feel a lot of feelings. Things really do change quickly, I couldn't imagine what it's like for him to be in NYC of all places. Wish I could have seen him on this last album tour even though I was 7 months pregnant at the time. Sending positivity from Minneapolis.
Finally I found someone to replace Lou Reed who passed in 2013... And looks like he may even be better.. Cheers Craig.
Incredible performance with wit and charm.
Fantastic.
