Sir why in illustration 3 we have changed signs ie -2x-2y=-100 we have the sign to 2x+2y=100 But we have not changed signs in illustration 4 why?.... Please reply
In 2nd order partial derivative of question number 3, why can't we take assumptions Equation 1 w.r.t x as A Equation 2 w.r.t y as B Equation 1 w.r.t x as C Instead of Assuming A C B? That also produces same result

He took the minus (-) common and cancelled it on both the sides and that's how it will become positive?
