- 100 days to beat two maps? Sounds impossible right? Well lets find out! Waking on the Island, I have 75 days to beat every boss on alpha difficulty, then move to Scorched Earth for the last 25 days, beating the alpha Manticore by day 100.

It's crazy to me seeing videos like this. I've played Ark on and off for years, but have not Once "beaten" the island map or even played on Scorched Earth lol...just wild. Also the ocean is scary.
It takes awhile to learn how to do all this stuff, let alone actually doing it. Doing bosses has become my way of enjoying the game, so the only way to make my 100 days challenges feel like… well, challenges, is to make them harder then beating 1 map

I've been binge watching 100 day challenges from a bunch of different UA-camrs, can confirm this one of the best ones I've seen. Of course the editing and narration is top tier but I think it's how knowledgable/efficient you are, that sets this apart. Good stuff man, keep it up!!

Oh no, time limit has no play in the overseer. Once you leave the tek cave, you can completely disregard it. Anywho glad you enjoyed it! Not nearly having the same success rate starting ab-ext lol
@@idontsk8 well it looked like you were 1 second to late on the kill or you somehow managed to beat him within miliseconds of the timer activating a fail, but you say that timer means nothing, so the timer is only from the entry to tek cave until you get inside boss room?
@@eclipse369. precisely. Once you leave the tek cave, you don’t need to worry about the timer whatsoever. Can leave and take a breather, or jump straight into the boss, either way the timer is no longer a concern

Not wanting to diss on anyone. Everyone has their skill levels (not trying to sound prideful), and for some 100 dayers its their first time even doing the bosses. So can’t blame em in the slightest. But that’s why I go as far as I can, cause with over 10,000 hours in the game across pc and console, pushing the limits is my regular gameplay lol
And i mean completely depends on the challenge too. I definitely could not have done alpha 100 days gen1-gen2, nor do I think I can manage alpha Aberration-Extinction. I like to push the limits, but pushing for alpha wouldn’t be manageable without super boosting rates on certain challenges

What are your breeding rates?
EDIT: I only just realised at 23:34, your in game day is 145, which tells me you only count the days you were online for, which also tells me the rates aren't quite as crazy as I initially realised, since this was done on a server

Even with the day count, it was still pretty high. I did tend to raise theris before i got off, but it only took about an hour to raise so not much of a time saver overall. But kudos to you, you are the first person to notice the day timer and not accuse me of playing for more the 75 days on the island lol

Glad you enjoyed! You’d be surprised what you can manage to achieve in a short amount of time, with the right plans laid out. The main thing that takes the longest is just the taming, mutating, and drop hunting.

Comes down to a lot of experience, and a reason to beat a map fast. Normally I try to go far slower, but during a 100 days, you kinda go speed
Its a nice change seeing someone finaly with a know how and planning few steps ahead instead of just playing or actualy being clueless
I like to bring a challenge to the board lol. Too be fair though, a fair few people have 100 days as there first experiences with maps or going for a goal on a map

I do have a question if you could answer though, how do you make that much kibble that quickly in early days? That is just crazy to me.
Getting kibble that early came down to planning and luck. Was just about getting an early greenhouse and egg makers (the rexes). From there, it’s inconvenient but manageable to make kibble

lmaooo you mouthing the sound effects on scorched, hate to say it but i probly wouldnt have even noticed the lack of game audio with the music n all if it werent for your perfect impressions of the sound effects lmao but that was awsome man nice job. just a minor suggestion, see if you can have your audio on 2 different tracks, game audio on one and mic audio on the other. that way you can still hear the games audio while lowering the live mic volume whilst doing your voicovers. so that way we dont hear you mumbling about something while your also voicing over and you wont have to comprimise the games audio by lowing the volume in general to not hear 2 of you. that was something i learned after recording a bunch of footage my first time recording and editing lol
Funnily enough I actually do, I just forget to turn my voice during the original recording down with all the other things you have to get done. But I appreciate the tip, though I already use it!

H how are you so quick to get levelled up abd have stuff thats crazy day 1 is normally over for me before ive moved off the beach and your killing a rex in your 3rd location, like you must have the day abd night rate on really long cuz thats insane fair play i ebjoyed the video watching the second one now.
A lot of know how and map memory. Grabbing notes, and knowing what gives good xp specifically. Surprisingly it’s unboosted day speed, making it hour long days

Course! Main rates were 2.5x taming, 2x gather, 100x hatching and maturing, 0.01x mating rates. I do plan to make a video once I have the full 300 days across the 6 story maps out describing rates and mods, and answering questions people had about the 100 days

What’s the imprinting quality bc how did you go from 7k to 15k hp on pop with one 70 days to mutate
@@pepisthebestmanagerofallti4284 surprisingly standard imprint quality and no singleplayer settings. Just luck with mutations, being able to get them to a 14 health 14 melee stack

One of the best 100 days videos I’ve ever seen! How did you get high levels to spawn so much on the island? I can’t ever seem to find anything over 90 on max difficulty.
Thanks! I wish I could say there was a strat behind how I got the good levels to spawn, but I can’t. I used a mod called Custom Dino Levels, which basically makes every level have an equal chance of spawning

Appreciate it! Rates were 2x harvest, 2.5x taming, 100x hatching and maturing, 0.01x mating timers, singleplayer settings off. Mods were S+, Additional Emotes, No Cryo Cooldown, Custom Dino Levels
Only a few minutes in, but would prefer to see when you loot upgrades like your hatchet and crossbow. Maybe with a comment "I killed around X many alphas or looted X amount of crates before finding this". Thanks. Nice work though

I can definitely see where you’re coming from, and I myself would agree. Problem is, when creating content like these I have to adhere to people more, and the reality is most people aren’t gonna care about how long it took to get something aslong as I show it. Infact the more I show, the more boring it would get, pushing people away

This question has been burning in my mind for quite a while, but would it be possible to beat the bosses at least on Gamma with Moschops? They're pretty strong, and pheromone darts exist so they don't just go running off
Theoretically, 100%. Without boosted stats though, it’d be a lot of mutation grinding just to take gamma alone. But yeah, technically speaking it should be possible

This is one of the only 100 days video that doesn't make Ark days look short. Most other creators move through the game so slowly.
To be fair most creators go into these challenges with the plan of beating them, I go in expecting failure and being surprised lol

So, after you beat the island Ark and Ascend does it change that save data to scorched earth? Like would it override an existing scorthed earth save if you beat the island? I haven’t beaten an ark yet either so just wondering how it works
It uploads your character, allowing to transfer to any map. This can be a map with a previous world on it (which doesnt delete it), or a fresh world, and doesnt even require you to go to scorched earth

Definitely good enough for alpha brood and monke, but dragon is always iffy with rexes… more likely with those stats, but still sketchy

How do you end up finding stuff like level 600 and also how do you find so many level 130+ normal creatures? What setting do you have on?
Level 600 dinos were from the tek cave, which spawns dinos far higher then anything you can find, but untameable. The lvl 130+ dinos came from a mod called custom dino levels. With only 75 days on the island, I knew it was imperative to find high levels fast
Great video, loved it!!! But is it only me, or are the loot crate opening sounds and sounds in general at the scorched earth part made by someone? They all sound like whistles 😭
I will neither confirm nor deny i lost the audio for those days, so i may or may not have had to replace it
