Thank you! There may have been some branches inside the pipe somewhere slowing the water down, but I think it was just the massive volume of water that made it take so long to drain. Some creeks in the area rose as much as six feet during that storm. Cheers!
i dont understaand why the floodwaters still has not receded hours after the flooding. has the river's outlet got blocked? the flood looks deep, i estimate about 18"
I think it was just so much water that it took a long time to drain, when the lake had returned to normal I couldn't see any visible obstructions. The water must have been even higher the night before I discovered it, but I suppose I wouldn't have been able to film in the dark anyway. ☺
