Bonjour, that was a very nice experience that you had; thanks for sharing!! It's incredible and I wish to experience that one day! Now, as a Frenchman, the crab on the baguette? Well, well, since you were alone, why not enjoy it your way, but not at the restaurant. Even the butter, that's ok if you are alone, but again, not proper at the restaurant. A small thing: after you eat, wipe your mouth before drinking or else your glass will get stained and hold many marks, and that's not chic! I hope you don't mind these observations. Again, have it your way when you are alone, but know the proper way too :) Thanks again for the amazing experience, you are lucky! Safe trips!
Bonjour! 😊 Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! I definitely took a few liberties with the crab and butter, but that’s part of the fun in First Class-you get to enjoy it your way! I appreciate the tips on dining etiquette-always good to know the proper way too. 😉 Glad you enjoyed the experience, and I hope you get to try it yourself one day! Safe travels to you as well!
Outstanding flight review. The detailed video of the lounge & spa/shower area was magnificent. Appreciate the close up of your meal choices and for leaving the subtitles up long enough to read them. I suggest that when filming the menu your look directly at the menu (not on an angle) so we all can read the choices we would have. It was a well appointed amenity kit. So often they have gone budget on them in other airlines. The pajamas actually looked to be of a heavy material, which is nice because one does get cold when sleeping on an airplane. kit Hope your liver recovered ; )
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! 😊 I’ll definitely take your suggestion on filming the menu directly for better readability next time. Glad you enjoyed the lounge and meal close-ups, and yes, the pajamas were surprisingly cozy! Haha, my liver survived the flight with plenty of water and fruit! And of course, extra gym time afterward. 😉✈️
The total culinary spectacle of those seven courses and drink accompaniments was outstanding. If you are going to pay so much money for a 1st Class ticket, Air France must be in the top three airlines in the world to satisfy your belly.
The 777 La Premiere is probably still the most chic and elegant of all the first class airline seats, from the colours and textures to even the safety video. It's both open plan but with the brilliant idea of the full length curtain so privacy without it being shut in. The food and drink of course is also top notch, perhaps only matched by JAL / ANA for the Japanese menus if you like Japanese food. Compared to the A380 it is also more private with only 4 seats and unlikely to be full. Nice video, good food choices as well.
Thanks! AF just launched new suites in their FC-Lounge. corporate.airfrance.com/en/press-releases/air-france-inaugurates-exceptional-new-airport-journey-la-premiere-passengers Hoping to check it out next time!
Thanks! 😊 It definitely has a serene and secluded vibe, which some people love for relaxation. If you prefer a livelier lounge, check out my video on Emirates' First Class Lounge: ua-cam.com/video/abL0R5o3FI4/v-deo.html
The CDG check in process is pretty cool, and you walk past the unwashed masses directly through security and passport control without delay to the lounge; awesome way to fly. I had LP all to myself on my return to Miami last year, the FA said that NEVER happens. I noticed the middle jetway was retracted when you boarded, were you burdened with the unwashed masses intruding in LP space?
Haha, the CDG check-in process really is something special! Having La Première all to yourself must have been an amazing experience-so rare! 😊 As for the boarding, the second door wasn’t open due to a technical issue that day, but I was advised to board after most passengers and wait in the lounge instead. :)
First Class on Emirates, Etihad, and Qatar is excellent, no doubt. But Air France has an amazing French dining experience, and their soft products are top-notch too. :)
@@jd2109 I don’t have much experience with Turkish Airlines, but their new Business Class offering looks tempting :) ua-cam.com/video/BKXYQXwhwk0/v-deo.html
Many thanks for an excellent report. Air France's La Premiere is still my favourite First offering - not as showy or 'blingy' as the Middle-Eastern carriers but more grown-up, elegant and classy - from the Chauffeur, to the lounge and the whole in-flight experience - rather like a European equivalent of JAL's offering.
A few drops of Lime Juice on Caviar is excellent. Limes are often a garnish with Caviar and this is the reason why it was served this way in La Première! He absolutely was correct to eat his Caviar this way!
@@gebe8978 You should enjoy it the way you want it, and let others enjoy it the way they want it. Acting like someone is doing something wrong because you do not agree with it is inappropriate.
Too bad there isn't La Premiere in the new A350 plane, because the humidity is higher and the pressure is lower than in a B777 => which means better sense of taste and less fatigue.
Agree, and I think it’s quieter on the A350 too. Next winter, Air France will unveil its new La Première cabin-hopefully they’ll include it on the A350! :)
Thanks for the compliment! 😊 I blur my face for privacy and to keep the focus on the immersive POV experience. I really appreciate the kind words though!
Much better Lufthansa, British, or Swis Air. They are the best in crew ...that are quite unfriendly (sometimes rude and unpleasant) They manners are so curt...
Thanks for the comment! I use face distortion for privacy and to keep the focus on the immersive POV experience rather than on me. Everyone has their own style, but I appreciate the feedback!

Lovely video
Excellent video thank you. Subscribed.
I would not be able to consume that much food and alcohol - I would need help getting off the plane!
It is beautiful. How ever it seem sooo empty. I would feel bored in there after a while! I definitely prefer Lufthansa first class concourse!

Nice. First class French style. At 20:26, why does it say Paris - Washington on the menu?
Very keen observation! I didn’t even notice that while aboard. 😊 At least now we know they serve the same meals on the Paris-Washington route too. 😉
Yep! pretty good video..!!!
Cost?
Thanks! The cost is listed in the video description. 😉

I still would go for emirates , Etihad , Qatar or Turkish first class ❤❤
Turkish Airlines does not have first class, and is a pretty bad airline even in Business Class

Compare this with your BA First/Concorde Room, well there isn't.
Its a shame it was such a short flight.

Sorry but why don’t you talk to?
Why did you have to specify the retail price of a Grand Siècle Perrier bottle??? This so middle class yet nouveau riche!
