Another top class episode! I'm sure you all have plenty of questions lined up for Ricardo Pasqual tomorrow but as a York fan I'd love to hear his answer to this: How much roster turnover can we expect, and will you be trying to attract high profile out of contract players from within CPL (as teams like Forge and Ottawa have done previously) or are you focussing primarily outside the CPL for additional high-end talent? (and let him know York fans appreciate all the work he and everyone else in the front office have done this year)
While I fully agree that David has been the most important player so far, I think that honourable mention has to go to Bombito, who so smoothly just caught up with the Surinam players & took the ball away from them. Really, Canada should have been up 2-0 in the 1st half & should have won by at least 3-0. It is a huge compliment to Canada, that Suriname, who usually plays a possession game, totally did the opposite & turtled into a defensive shell vs Canada because they were nervous about Canada's speed, skill & athleticism. People underestimate how good Canada's defence is. They were one of the best defensive teams in the Copa & they played vs Argentina twice. Then they only allowed 1goal to the U.S. & had a clean sheet vs Mexico in those Friendlies. I also thought that although Dayne St. Clair had zero shots on goal, he looked very confident handling the ball & he was very sharp at catching a few potentially dangerous crosses in the box. He is in better form than Crepeau & I hope that he starts again tonight. Canada was absolutely terrible with their set pieces & especially their corner kicks. Marsch said today that they hardly worked on that before that match; but they have put a lot of focusl on it since then. I personally hope that they start Jr. Hoilett & let him take the corner kicks, because over the years, he has by far been our best player at executing those kicks & he is in great form now too. Let's stay humble & agressive & focused tonight lads!!!
There's been a lot of talk with Tajon coming back. I hate to say this, but....Tajon is a dud. He's no longer a young player, and he really has failed to progress the past couple of years. At this point he's really just a speed merchant, not much else. I think our expectations of him should be tempered.
Yes, absolutely. And he's been our most important player for a while, now.

Predicting anything more than a 3 goal difference on aggregate is crazy
