Manananggal is a mythical creature in the Philippines, a scary monster. 😅 Pablo being Pablo, playful writer that he is, chose the manananggal to refer to themselves, dealing with fame. The manananggal is a human by day, that grows bat-like wings at night and flies off with only half its body, (waist-up,) leaving their lower body on the ground. Pablo used this analogy to say that as they grow more famous, they will always be humble and will still have their feet on their ground. It indicates how playful they are and not so conscious to always be perfect. 👏🏻
