I have learned to always pray and ask the Lord if someone says any thing questionable. Hi. I'm a born again believer, who has an active relationship with the Lord. I do my best to live upright and turned from things of this world. My testimony and transformation has been radical to say the least. However, I myself as born again believer, who turned from all secular tv, music, gave up any sort of drinking, am in the word every single day and sharing the Good News, was dealing with these random fits of anger. My life has TONS of good fruit to show for my salvation and walk with God, but I still struggled with anger. One day when somebody prayed over me, I manifested a demon who identified himself as "angry" I was in my right mind, I've never experienced anything like this before. I was screaming, crying, growling. Eventually, I felt pressure leave my body, and I fell to the ground. I have never felt so good in my life now and praise God for the freedom He brought me that day. Our bodies can be infiltrated with demons. Even as born again believers. Despite how you feel about these men. Please do not lead others astray. Scripture backs up what I'm saying. All over the place. Please please please don't hurt other peoples freedom in Christ and ask God yourself to reveal this truth to you.
Yes christians can be possessed, as a born again believer you have two natures. The flesh and spiritual nature, they are right in that aspect but incorrect in every other. Stay away from them.

Indeed. There is a grace that is attractive here, whereas in some places elsewhere I sometimes find this genre of channel (sound teaching in the face of faulty teaching) to be incredibly tiring. I can come away from two almost identical refutations and be blessed by the one and angered or grieved by the other. If a Christian does not seek another's restoration with a genuine heart and just wants to be right, they will often times be snidey and sarcastic and aloof. I take the love that is evident from the kind of spirit working through a believer over a clanging cymbal all day long even as the words spoke by both are identical.

Thank you for this biblical teaching. I fell victim to this teaching about 13 years ago when I was desperate to help my wayward daughter. A woman took a group of us through soul tie material that came from Bethel. It sounded just like this. I am so thankful that I didn’t continue to pursue this teaching much longer, but I never realized it was pagan. We are so gullible when we are desperate.
I heard some stories surrounding him and his ministry from ex members of his cult and they said they all( the members) treat Isiah like if he's infallible and how you better not dare question his teachings.

I was pretty sure soul ties were a poetic metaphor for the psychological consequences of sexual sin. This is the first I've heard of anyone actually believing they are a real thing. It's crazy how messed up even the most useful of human wisdom becomes when you put it in place of God's word.

What Isaiah s. Calls a “prayer,” is actually an incantation. It’s an attempt to manipulate spirits; which is Paganism. “I break unhealthy soul-ties in the name of Jesus” is not a prayer AT ALL.

@@iThinkBiblically I'm alright! Had a rough year but I'm climbing out of the valley and feeling better. I'm picking my bible up again too. The devil has his fingers in all the pies. I've been spending a lot of time researching various topics especially Islam. It's mental but I really want to help them get out of it. When it's one to one like in a taxi they're more likely to listen and I've had some good results. There's so many "christians" though that are pushing lies. Jesus is in my life and I have experienced many God instances. I usually keep them to myself though. If I told you you might not believe me but it really only matters that I believe. I do recognise that I can be deceived though. When I first believed, the world became a miracle that became very peculiar and a lot of lies of the devil fell away but it doesn't stop him from trying. I've had bi polar since 2007 after a bad reaction to medication but before that I was a chemist with a degree in Forensic Chemistry and evidence helped me discover truths and lies. I understand it if people aren't convinced. It's hard for me too sometimes when it happens. I'd like to tell you some of my experiences in time. After I was born again a fair few people tried to do deliverance on me sometimes for hours and hours and except for the occasionally yawn or cough nothing happened. Last year I was in a psych ward and a man was hearing voices, I asked if I could pray for him. He allowed me and in a couple of minutes it was gone after rebuking it in Jesus name and I mentioned psalm 27 too. He didn't hear another voice till he left 2weeks later. But there was a lot of time when I saw "christians" rolling around and growling for ages and never seemed to be free from it because they kept getting deliverance. It was all new to me and the people I fellowshipped with were constantly doing it even during baptism which made me angry because it's meant to be joyous occasion and it's not biblical. Thanks for bringing attention to this topic; it's important to test all doctrines with Scripture! These doctrines come from a place of something that doesn't seem connected, but it is; and it's the idea that you have no need to be taught by anyone because supposedly the Holy Spirit is your teacher, giving way to vain imagination. This is where error begins, with people desiring new revelation instead of being led and instructed by the written Word of the Lord. Once again, thank you for sharing Biblical teaching! I did this in new age. We would call back parts of our soul( soul retrieval). I honestly feel like this is a total insult to our God. 1. That teaching of soul-tie started with Juanita Bynum. She taught that a long time ago where she was talking about her many failed marriages and how it made her incomplete because her soul's parts were scattered everywhere. He that is in Christ is a new creation.

The only example of a soul tie in the scriptures is that which the Lord God Himself has given us in the form and nature of the only begotten Son of the living God. Putting on Christ, oneness, unity with Christ is all that matters. Sexuality comes from a fallen nature and is of a carnal mind. These false teachers put importance on the basest form of the human nature and experience and ignore the spiritual.

@@Sineadeee Not sure what your implying, but Jonathan and David were two different individuals who found a great deal in common with one another. Jonathan did not try to conform to the image of David and David did not conform to the image of Jonathan. We are not afforded the freedom or luxury to maintain our own identity as Jonathan and David did, which is why one needs to die to self, to put off the old nature, to be born again. When you stand in front of Christ and when He looks into your heart and does not see Himself in you He will reject you, as He will not recognize you. If you do not understand this important but basic principle, then I suggest you put a lot of thought and prayer into this matter and do some introspection to see if you are born again, that you may grow up into and put on the image of the living Son of the living God.

I just genuinely found scripture via reading the Word which speaks of souls cleaving such as "Genesis 34:3 KJV And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel." So as I stick to scripture I was just asking what the meaning of knit together was.
This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. It’s one thing to disagree but entirely another to attack and accuse other men of God of being a wolf in sheep’s clothing and accuse them of witchcraft. Ironic since so much of their ministries actually helps people out of witchcraft so they know about it way better than he does. Soul ties are legitimate. Our ministry has been helping people in pastoral counseling for years. I usually lead people to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to retrieve any parts, sanctify them, and bring them back in health and wholeness. That is more biblical and humble to ask rather than decree. But God answers yes and does because it is in His will to sanctify us. But I do have them say “I sever any ungodly ties with xyz.” That part is within our own volition. The soul includes the mind, body and WILL so it is the beginning of reestablishing your will, recognizing that this is unhealthy and ungodly, and making the official decision to terminate it. Getting rid of objects that remind you of them is a part of the action that confirms your decision and words. 1 Cor. 6 says “they become one FLESH.” If you listened carefully you’d know that the flesh includes BOTH the body and the soul. And thinking of your ex is not just lust. They even said in the clips it’s not always a romantic tie. It can be an ungodly tie to someone that abused or victimized you, a parent, someone in authority, a close same sex friend, etc. Also I googled “cord cutting spells” and it is nothing like what Isaiah and Vlad said. They’re using sage, candles and other means of witchcraft to cut the tie. Very different. I’ll do a video on soul ties soon for anyone interested in learning more. God bless.

The soul ties Saldivar is actually talking about are lust, fornication, adultery, and sexual immortality. The Bible calls all of these SIN - Not soul ties. No where in the Bible does it teach our soul can be divided.
I had the same thoughts myself today... came onto UA-cam and found your youtube video, I feel vindicated. I've been caught in their trap for the past couple of months. Enjoying any kind of secular entertainment, then going into youtube to watch one of these guys often times would result in anxiety attacks, I've read comments on here from people that can relate too. I pray for anyone caught up believing these false teachers even holding them to idoltry. I hope they're a revolving door for everyone til they at least either realize the error of their ways or otherwise stop their false teachings completely.
More evidence against the popular concept of 'soul ties' is that the 2 times Jesus encountered sexual sin (The woman caught in adultery, the woman at the well) he either told them to "go and sin no more" or he offered them Living Water. I think a better translation for 1 Sam 18:1 would be a great passion for eachother. Which the word also can be. Instead of diving into genesis for similarities. It makes more sense in that regard when you read further don in verse 3. Where they make a covenant with eachother. I think John 13:34 comes into great play here.
Great video! Question for you: in regards to someone you used to be with, could the sin also be idolatry in addition to, or instead of, lust? I think it was for me on more than one occasion. I put a person where God should be. I expected a person to be my rock, my security, my protection, and my salvation. Our culture really pushes that these days. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Sin, if left unchecked, can easily snowball. Let's say that you start with lust. You commit an adultery in your heart. That adultery quickly turns into idolatry. Now, if you put a person on a pedestal, you are more prone to further sinning- you will try to save your face in front of them and you may start to tell lies and boast a lot; you may steal something (even of no/little value) to please that person, you may become greedy because you want to bring a whole world to your lover's feet, you may become jealous if they do not pay you enough attention. You may stop honouring your parents if they disapprove of your idol. You may stop observing the Sabbath day and take on a weekend job so your idol can have material possessions or go on a holiday. You may even walk away from the Lord. All of this starts with a single sin.
Thank you for this video. I like how you do not personally attack the individuals (I have learned a lot from Isaiah) and instead focus on the issue at hand. The soul tie is a strange doctrine and I also heard this from Win Worley as well. I also checked the verse for my own in 2 Corinthians and I did not see that the word "body" can mention soul. Brother Caleb I would love your input on differentiating between Reform theology and Calvinist theology. Are they the same and do both follow the Tulip of calvansin. If you were to put a denomination on yourself what would it be. You have mentioned you were Pentecostal but I haven't seen any video of yours which states your current stance. Some unfiltered thoughts... I notice people in alot of comment sections go hard against fornication but are 30 years old and unmarried. I have a feeling that alot of them have struggled or still are with pornography. My gut feeling is that they have a pride issue that they throw down others who have failed sexual purity in the past including those who were before coming to faith as a way to make themselves feel like they are better.
I did that myself in my 30's when celibate as a new believer for a number of years. God eventually permitted me to fall in order to destroy my pride - and did so before my entire fellowship. The horrible thing is that pride blinds a person and I simply could not see that I was elevating myself whilst looking down on those struggling with thoughts (or deeds) of sex outside marriage; yet I was the one looking at pornography. I only fully understood my pride retrospectively. God seriously had to reveal my wretchedness and hypocrisy in such an open way in order for me to repent. Public humiliation really is sometimes necessary.

The Lord has grown my faith mightily over the last couple years. one thing I have found is I'm more convicted than ever of the sins of my past. every time I remember the life I used to live I wonder how I could possibly have thought that way. I have a love for doctrine and street preaching, this could easily cause me to think I'm better than others if it was not for the reminder of my wretched State apart from Christ. You're so right, but it's not just those in their thirties or the unmarried. It's also those of us in our fifties and beyond. In fact, I tend to believe that it's us much older ones who are quick to condemn and judge. As a young person growing up, I had to contend with all the judgment and condemnation, especially from the older women. Being the outspoken and wise person that I am, I would remind them or question them on how they were before they became saved. Of course I got a lot of heat, but it didn't matter because sometimes the best way to shut people up is to help them remember there past. I keep my past way off in the distance so as not to go back to it, but yet close enough in sight to remind me of it to keep me from being high mighty and prideful. Even in raising my kids and grandkids, I try to be mindful of myself at their ages.

Thank you for addressing this false teaching. I have someone recommended his channel to me. They were talking about soul ties. I had never heard of that before. I have learned to always pray and ask the Lord if someone says any thing questionable. I have also learned that if you read your bible everyday when you run across false teaching you will know because you've read the truth. May God continue to bless you and your ministry.

Hi. I'm a born again believer, who has an active relationship with the Lord. I do my best to live upright and turned from things of this world. My testimony and transformation has been radical to say the least. However, I myself as born again believer, who turned from all secular tv, music, gave up any sort of drinking, am in the word every single day and sharing the Good News, was dealing with these random fits of anger. My life has TONS of good fruit to show for my salvation and walk with God, but I still struggled with anger. One day when somebody prayed over me, I manifested a demon who identified himself as "angry" I was in my right mind, I've never experienced anything like this before. I was screaming, crying, growling. Eventually, I felt pressure leave my body, and I fell to the ground. I have never felt so good in my life now and praise God for the freedom He brought me that day. Our bodies can be infiltrated with demons. Even as born again believers. Despite how you feel about these men. Please do not lead others astray. Scripture backs up what I'm saying. All over the place. Please please please don't hurt other peoples freedom in Christ and ask God yourself to reveal this truth to you.
Yes christians can be possessed, as a born again believer you have two natures. The flesh and spiritual nature, they are right in that aspect but incorrect in every other. Stay away from them.

Indeed. There is a grace that is attractive here, whereas in some places elsewhere I sometimes find this genre of channel (sound teaching in the face of faulty teaching) to be incredibly tiring. I can come away from two almost identical refutations and be blessed by the one and angered or grieved by the other. If a Christian does not seek another's restoration with a genuine heart and just wants to be right, they will often times be snidey and sarcastic and aloof. I take the love that is evident from the kind of spirit working through a believer over a clanging cymbal all day long even as the words spoke by both are identical.

Thank you for this biblical teaching. I fell victim to this teaching about 13 years ago when I was desperate to help my wayward daughter. A woman took a group of us through soul tie material that came from Bethel. It sounded just like this. I am so thankful that I didn’t continue to pursue this teaching much longer, but I never realized it was pagan. We are so gullible when we are desperate.

The moment I first heard Isaiah Saldivar. speak my Holy Spirit discernment told me "turn it off" . He adds to the word.
I heard some stories surrounding him and his ministry from ex members of his cult and they said they all( the members) treat Isiah like if he's infallible and how you better not dare question his teachings.

I was pretty sure soul ties were a poetic metaphor for the psychological consequences of sexual sin. This is the first I've heard of anyone actually believing they are a real thing. It's crazy how messed up even the most useful of human wisdom becomes when you put it in place of God's word.

@@iThinkBiblically I'm alright! Had a rough year but I'm climbing out of the valley and feeling better. I'm picking my bible up again too. The devil has his fingers in all the pies. I've been spending a lot of time researching various topics especially Islam. It's mental but I really want to help them get out of it. When it's one to one like in a taxi they're more likely to listen and I've had some good results. There's so many "christians" though that are pushing lies. Jesus is in my life and I have experienced many God instances. I usually keep them to myself though. If I told you you might not believe me but it really only matters that I believe. I do recognise that I can be deceived though. When I first believed, the world became a miracle that became very peculiar and a lot of lies of the devil fell away but it doesn't stop him from trying. I've had bi polar since 2007 after a bad reaction to medication but before that I was a chemist with a degree in Forensic Chemistry and evidence helped me discover truths and lies. I understand it if people aren't convinced. It's hard for me too sometimes when it happens. I'd like to tell you some of my experiences in time. I think what you are doing is a great service to the Kingdom and I've watched a lot of your videos. I pray in Jesus name that you're channel grows and spreads seeds to the deceived! P.S.my journey started by allowing a demon to take over my body and drive my car like the Stig out of Top Gear. After I was born again a fair few people tried to do deliverance on me sometimes for hours and hours and except for the occasionally yawn or cough nothing happened. Last year I was in a psych ward and a man was hearing voices, I asked if I could pray for him. He allowed me and in a couple of minutes it was gone after rebuking it in Jesus name and I mentioned psalm 27 too. He didn't hear another voice till he left 2weeks later. But there was a lot of time when I saw "christians" rolling around and growling for ages and never seemed to be free from it because they kept getting deliverance. It was all new to me and the people I fellowshipped with were constantly doing it even during baptism which made me angry because it's meant to be joyous occasion and it's not biblical.

My first time hearing of soul ties was from Doreen Virtue, former New Ager and now Christian, who has taught against it.
Thanks for bringing attention to this topic; it's important to test all doctrines with Scripture! These doctrines come from a place of something that doesn't seem connected, but it is; and it's the idea that you have no need to be taught by anyone because supposedly the Holy Spirit is your teacher, giving way to vain imagination. This is where error begins, with people desiring new revelation instead of being led and instructed by the written Word of the Lord.
Once again, thank you for sharing Biblical teaching! We need to rely on Scripture the way we trust a GPS to get us to a destination.

I did this in new age. We would call back parts of our soul( soul retrieval). I honestly feel like this is a total insult to our God. 1. As if God, all mighty powerful amazing God, is going to share a space with anything less than Himself 2. This is why context is so important. People can make the Bible say whatever they want without context. I feel like bc Isaiah had such a supernatural experience at time of his conversion, he’s walking a dangerous line with his theology. The only example of a soul tie in the scriptures is that which the Lord God Himself has given us in the form and nature of the only begotten Son of the living God. Putting on Christ, oneness, unity with Christ is all that matters. Sexuality comes from a fallen nature and is of a carnal mind. These false teachers put importance on the basest form of the human nature and experience and ignore the spiritual.

@@Sineadeee Not sure what your implying, but Jonathan and David were two different individuals who found a great deal in common with one another. Jonathan did not try to conform to the image of David and David did not conform to the image of Jonathan. We are not afforded the freedom or luxury to maintain our own identity as Jonathan and David did, which is why one needs to die to self, to put off the old nature, to be born again. When you stand in front of Christ and when He looks into your heart and does not see Himself in you He will reject you, as He will not recognize you. If you do not understand this important but basic principle, then I suggest you put a lot of thought and prayer into this matter and do some introspection to see if you are born again, that you may grow up into and put on the image of the living Son of the living God.

This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. It’s one thing to disagree but entirely another to attack and accuse other men of God of being a wolf in sheep’s clothing and accuse them of witchcraft. Ironic since so much of their ministries actually helps people out of witchcraft so they know about it way better than he does.
Soul ties are legitimate. Our ministry has been helping people in pastoral counseling for years. I usually lead people to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to retrieve any parts, sanctify them, and bring them back in health and wholeness. That is more biblical and humble to ask rather than decree. But God answers yes and does because it is in His will to sanctify us. But I do have them say “I sever any ungodly ties with xyz.” That part is within our own volition. The soul includes the mind, body and WILL so it is the beginning of reestablishing your will, recognizing that this is unhealthy and ungodly, and making the official decision to terminate it. Getting rid of objects that remind you of them is a part of the action that confirms your decision and words.
1 Cor. 6 says “they become one FLESH.” If you listened carefully you’d know that the flesh includes BOTH the body and the soul. And thinking of your ex is not just lust. They even said in the clips it’s not always a romantic tie. It can be an ungodly tie to someone that abused or victimized you, a parent, someone in authority, a close same sex friend, etc.
Also I googled “cord cutting spells” and it is nothing like what Isaiah and Vlad said. They’re using sage, candles and other means of witchcraft to cut the tie. Very different. I’ll do a video on soul ties soon for anyone interested in learning more. God bless.

I had the same thoughts myself today... came onto UA-cam and found your youtube video, I feel vindicated. I've been caught in their trap for the past couple of months. Enjoying any kind of secular entertainment, then going into youtube to watch one of these guys often times would result in anxiety attacks, I've read comments on here from people that can relate too. I pray for anyone caught up believing these false teachers even holding them to idoltry. Question for you: in regards to someone you used to be with, could the sin also be idolatry in addition to, or instead of, lust? I think it was for me on more than one occasion. I put a person where God should be. I expected a person to be my rock, my security, my protection, and my salvation. Our culture really pushes that these days. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Sin, if left unchecked, can easily snowball. Let's say that you start with lust. You commit an adultery in your heart. That adultery quickly turns into idolatry. Now, if you put a person on a pedestal, you are more prone to further sinning- you will try to save your face in front of them and you may start to tell lies and boast a lot; you may steal something (even of no/little value) to please that person, you may become greedy because you want to bring a whole world to your lover's feet, you may become jealous if they do not pay you enough attention. You may stop honouring your parents if they disapprove of your idol. You may stop observing the Sabbath day and take on a weekend job so your idol can have material possessions or go on a holiday. You may even walk away from the Lord. All of this starts with a single sin.
Thank you for this video. I like how you do not personally attack the individuals (I have learned a lot from Isaiah) and instead focus on the issue at hand. The soul tie is a strange doctrine and I also heard this from Win Worley as well. I also checked the verse for my own in 2 Corinthians and I did not see that the word "body" can mention soul. Brother Caleb I would love your input on differentiating between Reform theology and Calvinist theology. Are they the same and do both follow the Tulip of calvansin. If you were to put a denomination on yourself what would it be. You have mentioned you were Pentecostal but I haven't seen any video of yours which states your current stance. To have little bits of one's soul implicates that the soul is as physical as the body because it can be quantitatively divided into bits/parts. Obviously these guys don't even get the difference between spirit and body

Some unfiltered thoughts...
I notice people in alot of comment sections go hard against fornication but are 30 years old and unmarried. I have a feeling that alot of them have struggled or still are with pornography. My gut feeling is that they have a pride issue that they throw down others who have failed sexual purity in the past including those who were before coming to faith as a way to make themselves feel like they are better.
I did that myself in my 30's when celibate as a new believer for a number of years. God eventually permitted me to fall in order to destroy my pride - and did so before my entire fellowship. The horrible thing is that pride blinds a person and I simply could not see that I was elevating myself whilst looking down on those struggling with thoughts (or deeds) of sex outside marriage; yet I was the one looking at pornography. I only fully understood my pride retrospectively. God seriously had to reveal my wretchedness and hypocrisy in such an open way in order for me to repent. Public humiliation really is sometimes necessary.

The Lord has grown my faith mightily over the last couple years. one thing I have found is I'm more convicted than ever of the sins of my past. every time I remember the life I used to live I wonder how I could possibly have thought that way. I feel so unworthy and humbled, but glory to God it keeps me from pride. I have a love for doctrine and street preaching, this could easily cause me to think I'm better than others if it was not for the reminder of my wretched State apart from Christ. I'm starting to think that although I know my sins are forgiven this reminder is kept in me by God to make sure I stay humble and not fall away.

You're so right, but it's not just those in their thirties or the unmarried. It's also those of us in our fifties and beyond. In fact, I tend to believe that it's us much older ones who are quick to condemn and judge. As a young person growing up, I had to contend with all the judgment and condemnation, especially from the older women. Being the outspoken and wise person that I am, I would remind them or question them on how they were before they became saved. Of course I got a lot of heat, but it didn't matter because sometimes the best way to shut people up is to help them remember there past. I keep my past way off in the distance so as not to go back to it, but yet close enough in sight to remind me of it to keep me from being high mighty and prideful. Even in raising my kids and grandkids, I try to be mindful of myself at their ages.
