If we make the move for Klay, then I really believe there will also be a secondary move. It doesn’t make a ton of sense to make the relatively short-term move for Klay unless you believe the window opens next season. I’d expect a trade for Simons, or a secondary signing of Monk/T. Jones in an effort to basically go all-in. Just my opinion
I see in Banchero style of player to be more of a less athletic 6’10’ Lebron I wish as time goes he gets more of a killer instinct but at the moment the future could not be brighter. Now at the moment in my opinion Franz has a bigger killer instinct in the crunch at least that’s what my eye test can see. Any way if Franz get back to his 3pt % as before. Suggs in crises his 3pt attempts and keeps more or less the same percentage and we get Klay and he doesn’t regress next year this would be a nasty team bearing injuries 🫣🤯
It should be encouraging to Klay considering what the Magic have done help Markelles/JI career. If I were klay, I would see Orlando as a potential option also considering the teams trajectory. Also, can you imagine the leverage we have in terms of no state income tax versus California? If it’s not about the money, we could pull something off here.
I think there’s just no urgency until the actual FA market to open up. Like the extensions will get done but there’s no advantage or reason to do it at 12:01 since there’s all this lag time
