Many singers no matter how good still use it, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish do and they don’t need it. Dixie doesn’t need it, but they still put it on her voice which changed her tone which made her sound not as good as she could have.

IMO it seems as if she’s somewhat self conscious about her voice (which I am too that’s why I use autotune) and I wouldn’t doubt it, she’s a teenage girl that’s what they do. Plus the whole song is really in a monotone voice, there’s no feeling behind most of it. If she would have put more emotion into the WHOLE song instead of bits and used a good quality mic and no autotune, this could have sounded amazing.

Tried to listen to the one Demi wrote for her to sing. Dixie seems like a really sweet girl but its like when I hear James sing. Something about their voices sounds like they can't fully get their voice out of their throat or something sometimes. Im not saying it to be rude it makes me feel like I physically have something lodged in my own throat to listen to it though. Not all her singing is bad though just something she does with her voice I guess that my ears don't like. But differnt strokes for differnt folks. Tried to listen to the one Demi wrote for her to sing. Dixie seems like a really sweet girl but its like when I hear James sing.
