Thanks a lot for casting Mr. Sanjay Suri. He brings a true touch in his every character. I just can't stop crying, I can literally feel the emptiness in Eddy.

made me hug my dad as well.... felt really good. He is an army man I never had hugged him in my 21 years lifetime. I am so happy today when I saw my dad's slightly wet eyes when I hugged him. it's true that we all need affection no matter how strong we look from outside... especially this is the case with our jawans they are so away from their family.
But maybe he is regretting his decision to never understand his wife’s problem ... And so now by cuddling strangers he may try to understand their problem and comfort them!!!

This short movie actually touched my soul. At times, a person needs someone just to listen and understand the grief he is going through. Sometimes, a cuddle is enough to heal heavy hearts. Love you team LSF.
19:23 The details at tombstones are very accurate & detailed. This leaves me wondering, are these 2 graves are artificial or in actual a mother & a son died in 2010? It gave me a goosebump to imagine that what if this story is real and the scriptwriter knows that Eddy in real or what if this is the own story of THE SCRIPT WRITER ?
What a magnificent piece of art! The concept of professional cuddler seemed really weird at first but that is just because I have been conditioned by society to think this way. In truth, this is a great concept and obviously not for everyone, as it requires excellent interpersonal skills and a high emotional maturity to carry through. Sanjay Suri was phenomenal, and Eisha did justice to her role. The delicate sound of raindrops as the cuddled was soothing, and it was such a pleasure to watch this short movie. Didn't realize when 20 minutes were up! The ending brought tears to my eyes. It really does take a severe personal tragedy for a person to realize they'd been prioritizing the wrong things in life! It feels wonderful to realize that while the world (and our country as well) is dealing with all sorts of problems and suffering is widespread, there are people(i.e. creators of this short movie) who are trying to do some right by creating valuable, insightful content. Kudos to the entire team!
I don't know why but this just made me cry.. I mean like I just didn't have a reason to weep but as soon as she started telling her dad's story, tears started rolling down my cheeks and they just continued. But this pain felt beautiful. I felt heard. I felt comforted. Beautiful..beautiful..beautiful story line..❤
They say" One can cure his wounds only by healing others off their wounds". Anyone can't understand this until or unless he has faced the kind of situation which challenges the very virtue of his existence. Wonderful thoughts beautifully conveyed.
What a charming actor 😍. He is so energetic, oozes charm during the interview and in the session but in the climax scene I felt he is a different person , broken , and that makes him a very mature and good actor . True , only the people who doesn't have anyone to cuddle will understand the importance of cuddle. We often act upon urge and desire but hesitant to express love or sometimes I feel that ,have we lost the capability to love ,to express love. When we do that it is magical .
Yes, We really don't know how to express love even in the most intimate of relationships (husband and wife)...human touch is very powerful emotionally and physically (it is really beneficial for newborn babies)... unfortunately we have digressed and don't use it the way it's intended to bring out the best in our relationships...
Love from Dubai, Sanjay Suri is brilliant but the actress performed so damn well! A very apt subject that most of us miss out on in our hyperactive life! Im 58 and married for 26 years, this is something that's missing in our relationship, we only realize it when it's too late. That's the saddest part. Congrats to the entire team of "Call Him Eddy" God bless. Tony
One of the most Heartfelt story....made me realise how distant i have become from my Parents..a simple touch n hugging someone helps you release so many emotions that we have buried deep inside and never want to confront them..Made me so emotional, as I connected with Sanjay Suri sirs loneliness and feeling of missing a loved one...Could not control my tears, cried my heart out and I'm definitely feeling better ! It was speechless experience to watch this piece of human emotion laid out so well.
Missed to mention...Sanjay Suri is always a been a great actor...he gets into the role transform emotion..expression and feeling so real! Superb acting!!
Well done, Sanjay! You were Eddy in every sense of it. Eisha is a breath of fresh air. She would go places. Excellent script- mature, professional, and treating the audience with respect. Thank you! Direction and camera perfect! Enjoyed it much. Thank you again.
Probably Eddy gave all his time to his job that made him lose out on moments with his wife and son and their death made him realise how much he wanted to just hold them before they were gone. So while he is cuddling with his clients, even he is trying to heal himself and feel like he is hugging his wife and son (quick shots of an old lady and a young man hugging and cuddling with him)
Thats exactly what it is. Something like - "What you seek is seeking you." Even though it is a fictional story, but the universe does work in this way.
I am so glad to see that someone has put on screen something that I have been believing for quite some time now.....and that too in such a nuanced way! Sanjay Suri actually lives every word he utters in this movie....his manner does not feel contrived at all! Kudos to the makers of this movie who celebrate emotions and the magical "human touch" so unabashedly. Human beings can convey words worth a whole book through a simple touch and that has so gone missing in this world today.....even in the pre-pandemic times. As we grow up, we continuously feed ourselves the notion that we are big, mature, self reliant blah blah blah and to 'manage' ourselves better, we do not need this human touch that used be our constant companion when we were young. We reduce it to a chaste peck on the forehead or cheek.....even when we are with our parents, siblings and friends...with partners too. We would not need "professional cuddlers" if we break these barriers of conditioning to let our love and concern for our near and dear ones flow through our warm touch. Trust me there would be much less emotional casualties that way!
Such a moving, poignant piece! Not afraid to say I teared up throughout. Hats off to the cast & crew... I feel like the last tome I teared up so much was while watching My Brother Nikhil; a testament to Sanjay Siri’s talent over the years!
One of the best short films I've seen in a while! As always I am in awe of Sanjay Suri's and Eisha Gupta's work, the way they brought the story to life and made us all realize how important touch is and how much more important it is to accept you're emotions and be ok with it. Especially nowadays where relationships aren't the same, this video reminds us of what is important!
Sanjay Suri... what material are you boss.... look how professionally you projected your facial expression of unconditional, neutral, compassionate, truefullness, honesty ..etc. etc. when you kept saying "It's Okay.. it's okay!.... then you Eisha.. so much in complementing with the sequences on hand... your outburst storytelling can't be expressed in any other way whatsoever... class! And then you SANJEEV VIG... I once thought ROGANJOSH may be One-Time Wonder for a young, upcoming and newcomer but this one.... OMG! The entire take-off, the brightness, indoor artwork, the serenity of the set / locales, the star selection, the writing, the presentation, the camera work and the Director in you... like any Captain of ship.. made it sail so smooth under such turbulence behind it's storytelling... ABSOLUTE GENIUS! I really admired your sense of filming simply observing the angle, posture, expressions and then capturing it when actual cuddling session began ... the highlight of the 20:23 minutes of just magic! Wish I could HUG you and pat on your shoulder in these COVID-19 times... and say KEEP WALKING!
A beautiful short film expressing the right kind of emotions - truly touched the heart. It leaves you with a pang of pain and a smile all at the same time. Superlatives performances by Sanjay Suri & Esha Chopra! Well done team👏🏻
It can be interpreted that way. But I don't think he meant it that way. He meant people are somewhat caged in their own little world of notions, insecurities that they stop themselves from doing a lot of things in the name of law, embarrassment and societal pressure. They stop living all together, they stop being human. And if he could change that just with a hug, wouldn't it be like bringing life to the dead? Not everything is deeply-rooted. We give meaning to things, not that it was the intention of the author. It might have been, but opposite makes sense too. So I don't think this is related to his dead wife and son.
@@IshtiByAnkita Or maybe there are no coins at all? Maybe when you are looking at coins and two sides, someone else sees a polished mirror with only a side? Things aren't inherited in things, we give birth to those things with our thoughts. That is my whole point. That is why I said you might be right, but might not be. ;)
I am left with no words to describe how beautifully written is this film. It has really etched and earned a special place in my heart. Couldn’t see anything better than this. The lead actors have done an amazing job to portray the kind of turmoil, today’s generation suffers from. Far better than shitty Bollywood movies. I think this should b watched by all the audience of India , people need to understand that the emotional urge of having someone by our side , Nd it's fulfilment is so natural , it's nt a crime ...
First of all, it is good to see every audience as Matured. Total 157 comments till now, but no one misunderstood it. Now Something i would like to add regarding the movie. I think; In reality Such person would not even regret his past. But in the movie, cuddler ( from couple of years ) still regrets all that has been left. Still the Person( Cuddler ) has not healed himself; But have understood something extraordinary. From,my point of view it is still not professional. To become professional, LEAVE YOUR PAST BEHIND FOREVER.
I like his voice, crisp and subtle. Obviously that goes without saying that he is a good actor too. I think everyone watching this needs a cuddler in their life somewhere or the other, at some point in their lifetime. The last portion of the video literally brought me tears, 😫 when he visited his wife and son. Any yes, I certainly agree with him that crying isn't weakness, it is a person who has strong emotions which others lack.
Laughed smiled and finally cried egarly ❤️.... If we could just restart our humanity and compassion once again, if we could just hurt little less, feel little better.... If I wish...🙏
Wow wow wow . Couldn't stop myself from having a wonderful thought after watching this . .. Couldn't impose but this is what life is all about .... Just let go the things which hurt us at the end , which are keeping us way back to what we actually can , which are giving nothing but a deep pain everytime we feel something ....
If this cuddling really works then I think every couple, every son, daughter..must practice it... Definitely most of the family issues would be resolved...at initial level Ultimately we would be able to form a better world
He also needed those cuddles just like any of his other clients !!! We are all in need of love, i wonder why we can't distribute love like confetti & see magic happen all around us. If we all start spreading love & kindness, we'll get back the same too !!!!
What a masterpiece short movie and the song is sooooo soothing.. I don't have words to describe the beautifulness of this story.. thanks for giving us such a wonderful and amazing movie ❤️❤️❤️
I'm speechless after watching this video...what a great mentally and thought process of this awesome content...I loved it We should appreciate such works...
Sometimes a hug is the answer to everything.. even when the questions are unknown.. Amazing direction and great script to watch during these unprecedented times !!
Actually it's a fact we all are in a crisis we can't express our feeling to anybody we r in a delimma if spoke what society think and we lost our happiness
wow.....somedays ago I was thinking about this professional cuddling and here it is......Sex is not which everyone needs....If there is someone jiska haath pakad ke aap baith sako....chupchaap.....thodi der......its magical....superhealing.....I wish i also find some clean, hygeinic and compassionate cuddler like him......vey good concept....
Touching another human being without having established a mental and psychological harmony first adds to stress level. Bypassing compatibility which is needed to reduce stress and mental knots can not result anything good. We all do have a circle around us which violating it by another person puts us in defense mode. A child hugs his mother to naturally reduce his stress but when he is forced to hug another woman he will not get the same advantage. He said when he gets an urge while hugging a woman that is natural, it might be to him but to that woman he is violating her boundary. She is naturally programmed by nature to guard that boundary and prevent anybody from using it unless she is in love with them.
What a beautifully scripted short film! This man is healing others and in the process is healing himself as well. A realistic portrayal of issues/inner turmoils that many of us experience at some point in our lives. Wonderful performances by both the actors! ❤️
I don't know what to say. I just want to tell everyone that it is okay to feel alone. It is okay to hug pillow and cry at nights. It is okay to find yourself comforting your own wounded heart. It's okay. It's okay. ❤️
Its again Royal Stag Barrel. So many precious films in it. First of I am overwhelmed for the story and its writer. Stunningly composed as film and for that salute to the director. Great camera work, superb arrangements for making every frame convincing. The actors are at par excellence. Last but not the least music and the essence of the film are mind blowing. So carefully nurtured this film is.
Sucha beautiful emotion.Mostly ignored because the results are intangible. We are so much lost in chasing what world has defined as "success" that we forget our purpose of existence.
He is healing himself by the process of healing others.....such is the power of helping and healing everyone around us!!
You got this actually.
The whole world is going through a very sick period of time and everyone needs a therapy.
Of course. .if i am.in the same situation. ...even i used to face lot of difficulties in .my life. ..but the life never ends when we are want to end this. ..we have to live our life when death come to front of us...but i am waiting for that day....i can pray for god every day please that day will come soon in my life....i know no one can live happily in this world...everyone has had their own prblms...i am not the one only...iam in one...but i don't know when those prblms going to end my life...it has been continued untill my death...that's why i am waiting for that day

Hats off!!
For a moment I started hating her XD... But then I realised she is acting
She is more of a woman, than a girl tbh but yes, good acting
The reason she erased the interview from the camera is that her perception has changed about Eddy that it's not a scam, its a therapy.

Yes, We really don't know how to express love even in the most intimate of relationships (husband and wife)...human touch is very powerful emotionally and physically (it is really beneficial for newborn babies)... unfortunately we have digressed and don't use it the way it's intended to bring out the best in our relationships...
People who have noone to hug become bitter. I have a friend like that.
Riya: Why you ask so many questions?
Eddy: Dost aise hi banate hai..!!!
Very true !!
I remember him in My Brother Nikhil...one of his best.
Such a fine actor.....so sad we see so little of him.
wow.. is an understatement for this short film. Very well spend 20 mins of my life. Healing Touch. So true. So honest.
I cannot say how touched I feel with this masterpiece....Sanjay Suri is just amazing as always!
Something like - "What you seek is seeking you."
Even though it is a fictional story, but the universe does work in this way.
@@akshayxyz so glad you beleive in all this, much like me.
After watching, I went straight gently hugging my children. Heart touching...
you should be glad they are around... do it every now and then, whenever you have an opportunity...

He said " he is ready to go to jail if it takes to bring life to the dead" he was referring his dead wife and son
I felt it so!
Haan
It can be interpreted that way. But I don't think he meant it that way. He meant people are somewhat caged in their own little world of notions, insecurities that they stop themselves from doing a lot of things in the name of law, embarrassment and societal pressure. They stop living all together, they stop being human. And if he could change that just with a hug, wouldn't it be like bringing life to the dead?
Not everything is deeply-rooted. We give meaning to things, not that it was the intention of the author. It might have been, but opposite makes sense too. So I don't think this is related to his dead wife and son.
@@lokeshisrani8827 there are two sides of coins 😄
Need more like these to create awareness in our society. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful movie, ironically released when human touch - especially of stranger- is supposed to be avoided.
True😅
Love the comment 😊

There are different types of Touch.......
Totally new concept, but so sensitively projected.simply beautiful. The actors have lived their roles.Too good
Emotions that hide behind a smile are hard to find. So touching!
Wow !! In this era we definitely need professional cuddler.
Hats off to their acting!! To convey pure and platonic emotions especially in such intimate scenes is so tough for an actor!! Wonderful job by both!
Wow I'm in love with this .. So beautiful, calm and peaceful... Sanjay Suri is simply amazing...
Such a simple but huge need in our life is emotional hug.
But, we realise it too late
Eddy is professional, But he is crucially in need of it on the emotional platform!
A wonderful content and acting done by the leads, truly relatable.Death teaches you gratitude.Lots of love and support to this film.
As a doctor I can understand the importance of a touch..Beautifully depicted, you are a gem Sanjay...
He is doing this for Himself....
What a powerful message!!! Just loved it as usual ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful! It's a real privilege to be able to experience a short film like this..! Thanks for bringing this one.
The best film I have ever watched , well weaved ,kudos to eisha Chopra and sanjay suri and the director
Definitely most of the family issues would be resolved...at initial level
Ultimately we would be able to form a better world
Eisha Chopra was out standing.... the crying scene was brilliant. It felt real!
There are so many unresolved issues..we all hold back..a simple hug..a simple touch..even kind words are healing:)
Wow.... This one is such a gem!!
Simple but powerful.
The music of the rain in the background, just wow !! speaks thousand words without saying anything
I'm speechless after watching this video...what a great mentally and thought process of this awesome content...I loved it
We should appreciate such works...
I knew I was going to absolutely love this when I started watching this. Thank you for this ❤️
Exactly even I have felt it
He said life is better without this “5 inch duniya”. But I’ve watched this beautiful film in that “duniya”.
I wish ssr had hugged someone who understood him.
Woow! These 20 minutes were like a heart therapy ❤️
I was actually about to say this!!!
wow.....somedays ago I was thinking about this professional cuddling and here it is......Sex is not which everyone needs....If there is someone jiska haath pakad ke aap baith sako....chupchaap.....thodi der......its magical....superhealing.....I wish i also find some clean, hygeinic and compassionate cuddler like him......vey good concept....
So true. But she seems attracted to him.
Beautiful!!!
I felt it when he says ... we all are too busy chasing life and forget to live 💔
what happens when people open their hearts ?
..."they get better"
What a beautifully scripted short film! This man is healing others and in the process is healing himself as well. A realistic portrayal of issues/inner turmoils that many of us experience at some point in our lives. Wonderful performances by both the actors! ❤️
What a beautiful concept, Special last seen say millions things without saying anything !
I don't know what to say. I just want to tell everyone that it is okay to feel alone. It is okay to hug pillow and cry at nights. It is okay to find yourself comforting your own wounded heart. It's okay. It's okay. ❤️
Or its ok to hug your friends or family.
This one's for eisha chopra, you are so beautiful and equally good actor and sanjay was also fine.
One of the most heart touching short film I've come across...
Sucha beautiful emotion.Mostly ignored because the results are intangible. We are so much lost in chasing what world has defined as "success" that we forget our purpose of existence.
Sanjay is a brilliant actor. My brother nikhil is one of his best movies
Companioning , just sit next to each other
Well written!!
