Yeah, he does have that accent though in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the same show that both he and the actress of Marie, Jasmine Sinclair, starred in as main character roles.

@@Δ-Δ-Δ-Δ basically his girlfriend has the ability to control people's minds and mess with their memories except it isn't always reliable. Sometimes memories sneak through, but only parts so people's minds can be left like an unfinished jigsaw puzzle only seeing part of the picture. People can also remember blanks in their memory if she has erased long periods of time. They can't remember what happened during then but that they don't remember. After months of her doing this to him, this eventually drove her boyfriend crazy as his mind deteriorated making him go crazy and start killing people. which he quickly regretted and then killed himself over the guilt.
Chance was A REAL one
Ashley is easily the most underrated character in both shows. She has some amazing lines and delivery and she’s so much fun to watch. I hope she gets some amazing scenes in the final season considering how her character left on in the S4 finale.

I personally find these types of scenes scarier than the Homelander ones, at least when you really think about it. When your goal is to make as much money as possible, brand recognition matters more than saving lives. These types of scenes are scarier because they're more real. I'm not scared of evil Superman lasering me in half, but I'm TERRIFIED of a company deciding that money is more important than human life

one of the things i liked the most about gen v is the control the higher ups have. sure, shit hits the fan. but generally, before it does, theyre really in control. reminds me of boys s1-2, madeline stillwell, stan edgar - they had control over their supes. they were, as edgar says, a pharmaceutical company. i think a big issue with s4 was dropping a lot of that - we didnt see anything besides ashley scrambling. i wouldve liked to see the reality of this- vought would be scrambling to kill whoever threatened their business and stocks. i still think this might happen in s5. i just really enjoyed the overarching corporate big brother is watching aspect of s1 and 2 and it made those seasons really captivating to me. sure, shit got crazy. but just crazy enough that vought got what it wanted. it added a sense of realness to the show, because yeah - thats what life is. even at fucking mcdonalds or something, every color and shape or size of a button or text is specially picked to control what you get and maximize their profits.
