I remember talking to John Otto back on MySpace when limp were fighting labels and korn was milking it by giving up numetal and following trends. He didn't get it, he asked wtf are bands which he used to admire doing right now? They're selling out, and half the time, not even writing their own music anymore. It gave me hope for the music scene I grew up with. Hope they bring the beat back with the new record
***** actually Korn didn't sell out. After Head left the band it became more of what Jon wanted and he is a huge fan of electronic music, thats why he does it too, hence the reason why korn made an album like that. Have you not noticed the change in music since Head has returned? Not being hostile i'm just saying they didn't sell out.
What's up with people just randomly hating on Limp Bizkit? They have faded out of the public over the years due to inactivity and "Results May Vary" not living up to expectation. At this point, you're more obsessed with hating Fred Durst than poverty, war and human suffrage. Move on and listen to something you like, whatever that may be.
SWEGTA I prefer THIS version than ministry one......Limp bizkit was my childhood, and this cover is amazing, hate me or love me, but this version is WAAAY BETTER than the original

How can you say Ministry never made it. They were a pretty successful band from the 80's into the late 90's or early 2000's, and people still listen to their stuff.
Ministry has been very successful for an industrial metal band, they've been one of the most prolific for sure. The only other one more popular and prolific than them that I can think of is Nine Inch Nails.
@@xenos_n. Trent is definitely more rock than metal. Rock has always been more popular because it's easier on the ear for mainstream listeners. Slipknot.... few of their songs are industrial and they're a big band.

Limp bizkit kicks ass. Fred gets my respect because he can move the crowd and his lyrics are awesome. This is a kick ass cover. Ministry opened doors for nin in the 90’s
I know Bizkit have been doing this for 15+ years but it's nice to see someone (anyone) keeping A.Jorgensen alive. I saw them live in 89 so any Haters can suck it! (In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up (Live))
For all you who don't know, Al Jorgenson of Ministry mastered his voice, with delay, and other effects, along with him having the most dooming venomous voice ever, and Fred Durst called Al saying that he wanted to have the voice tracking for thieves. So Al came to a recording studio, and Fred yelled some shit in there, and said that it wasn't the voice, and so Fred got all mad and left. And Al charged him 10,000 dollars to just play with it.
Fantastic cover, the original is fantastic and it's great to see the song updated with even more attitude and rage than the original had. I don't think anyone could cover this song better than Limp Bizkit, and that is not something I would say lightly.
This is pretty good tbh. LB are pretty good for what they do and are actually good musicians, specially John & Wes. You could make an arguement for Fred (as does almost all their haters), but I neither care what Fred did or does in his personal life, and he actually can deliver a good performance live. Also, I have to give LB props for sticking to their nu-metal sound when their contemporaries went for an easy-cash grab and now have a fanbase that is either filled with fair-weather fans or disgruntled fans disappointed at how they sold themselves (and failed) in exchange for some more minutes of fame. Gold Cobra would've fit right at home in '99 - '01.
