I’ve been watching this series all morning and I wish the episodes were like, 10-15 minutes longer. One of my favourite Zomboid playthroughs I’ve seen, I like how chill it is.
@@KiloBeatz I'll try and post some longer format stuff. Tik tok and shorts have ruined attention spans lol. When Avowed Drops in Feb, I'm going to do full playthroughs with either 60 or 90 min episodes.
FYI the reason why zombies tend to sometimes not spawn until you enter a room despite fighting tons outside is how zomboid handles spawning in rooms - you have to actually look in a window to trigger the spawns, at least partially. this can result in dudes spawning in second floor rooms, though. there's a mod that changes this, but it also comes at the cost of performance, due to essentially spawning every zed before you can see them.
it's a tad on the bigger side which might be a negative depending on who you ask but that does look like a really solid place to set up in, nice find! Also iirc, there's a bug with the way aiming works right now that makes it so you don't hit the zombie where the *weapon* hits, it's based on where the *character* is standing, since the zombies have 3 'hit zones' (legs, torso and head) and the game picks the one closest to you. what this means is that to reliably hit the head on a zombie on the ground, standing on top of their head is the way to go. it looks a little goofy bc you'll basically be hitting the ground but it'll somehow give you a headshot, though idk if b42 has fixed it or not, haven't tried it yet

There's actually a ranch area with a large pen and livestock barn across that small bridge to the south! This place is GOATED

Agreed, too big for a solo run but imagine this for multiplayer?
