  • Learn how to move multiple selection layers in Photoshop in just 1:20 minutes! If you want to be able to quickly edit or create photos and images in Photoshop, you'd need to learn how to quickly and effectively move layers around. For example, you could select multiple layers by holding the shift button and select the top and the bottom layers, this will then select all the layers in between. Then, in order to move the selected layers only, you got to hold the Ctrl button and drag and drop the layers. You could also hold the Ctrl button to select and deselected your desired layers in the layer panel. To make your life easier, I'd also suggest you to lock the layers that you don't want to move accidently.

I've selected nine layers to resize, but when I click ctrl T to bring up the transform handles, they only appear on two of the layers. I need to resize them all together to maintain the proportions to one another

It doesn't work. When i press control and move my selected layers, the whole layers move, not just the selection.

I came to this video looking for the same question as you. As far as I can tell, there isn't an option in Photoshop to move a specific area across *multiple layers*, only moving the whole layers.
You are able to go to your menu bar, go Select > Save Selection. You could setup an Action to record yourself loading a pre-saved selection, and then moving it however many pixels you want. Finish the action, and then select every single layer individually and start that action. That seems to be the only way it can be done as far as I can tell.

@@LucasSaturn CSP could easily do something like that, so I can't understand why Photoshop can't do something that simple.

@@imafreakinninja12 there are a lot of simple stuff like that, that photoshop never finds a solution to it even tho they are shoving in AI stuff no one asked. I`m going back to CSP, again.
