Thanks for the video, we can tell you put a lot of effort in it. I'm still super confused about the Gearing Aspect of Endgame (PVE). Especially how Gear Tiers and Gear Tokens work, how to unlock Gear Tiers/Tokens, why some Gear Tokens are just free to buy (tier 2 and 2.5 normal) and what to do with the heap of random set pieces we get from callboard (can we exchange them for tokens/other pieces or are we supposed to keep them for future specs? vendor them?) I believe I looked everywhere for this information but I can't find it. Would be a dynamite follow up video!
Indeed i am planning on making a build guide. I havent done it yet cause im missing 2 integral spells. Also the build makes use of "questionable use of game mechanics" so it might get nerfed when the video comes out
Is there a difference in the effectiveness of PvP vs PvE gear? Could you farm PvE gear in dungeons and do good in PvP and vice versa or is the gear useless outside its respective source?
@@mn2609AA not useless as such. Better gear is always higher stats, which in turn is more damage etc. With that being said, you always want to get pvp gear instead where possible. I believe its like a 30% damage increase and 15% damage reduction that you simply miss out on from pvp power (or something thats somewhat close to those numbers)
Looking at Atlas Loot, I don't see much point in raiding. My pvp gear is much better than any pve gear. Yeah, I miss out on pve power, but the stats are way, way, lower. Am I missing something?
@@jrr3787 i think so, the different gear types should always be best in their own category. Maybe your atlas loot is looking at normal pieces of raid gear. I seem to remember atlast loot not being capable of showing stats for higher item level mythic+ pieces as well
I have a question about the season 1 level 60 gear and the new seasons 2 level sixty gear. They have the same stats but season 2s is way more expensive. Why is that?
If you are talking about pvp gear then it works like this: Season 1 honor gear is the same as season 1 arena gear. (They are the same pieces but you can buy them with 2 different currencies) Season 2 honor gear and season 2 arena gear is also the same. (They are also the same pieces and it again just provides an option to buy pieces with 2 currencies) Now the season 1 and season 2 gear sets are two different sets. Season 1 sets can be purchased with both currencies and same with season 2. But the season 2 sets are more expensive because they are better pieces of gear. They also have different names, and different set bonuses. The item levels for season 1 sets are 66-71. The item levels for season 2 sets are 71-74 instead Hope that answered your question

Most likely what you saw would have been either booming echoes or astral storm, but hard to say for sure without more info. If you are interested in builds to play, i suggest joining my discord, you can ask all sorts of questions in there.
Sub'd great content! I've been trying to understand your build you have it looks like a kind of Arcane Mage but your damage is incredible! How are you doing 56k dmg to a Manastorm boss? As I'm level'n up on Prestieges I'm barely breaking 2k on my top end near 60
Good video. Meanwhile running manastorm 1-50 has so good reward/hour ratio that its what people do most of the time. Its not even close when you compare it with other forms of content.
Would have been nice to explain how to actually start. Hit 60, and im basically locked out of all pve content due to shitty gear (cant even que for normal/heroic dungeons due to no pve power cuz heirlooms)
Manastorm is fun until a point like when it's not. Hate narrow places with too many aoe. Doesn't matter if u do 10k dps , the damage from multiple sources can grind you down in seconds, especially in a shithole like stockade. (I'm on lvl 535)
its a rather long explanation but i believe that it stems from a legal loophole, something about blizzard not being able to prosecute because of some EU regulations yada, yada. Something like that, but yea.... ascension is a great private server
i been playing wow ascension for nearly 6 years now , the game and mechanics are somewhat new but after 3 days you wish to quit the server , why because there are exploiters all over the realms , i been on area52 full of elisits bullshido grandmasters , any seasonal server is like whoever spends more time gets more stuff , and the new PTR COA is complete scam nothing else , you help them develop something , then they say thanks a lot and make money from your efforts ... the entire ascension team and COA devs are the same you help them they say thanks and you get wiped , mocked , flamed , muted , banned ... i mean when does everyone realize that this server is for silent players that spend money for exactly nothing !

I got one question because it's my first time in seasonal server. When the season ends, what do I keep from the things I unlocked in my characters?
Loot, gold, gear etc should transfer yup. Only thing is your build/spec gets reset to fit with the area-52 free pick style

Its my astral storm, it crits for 155k+ on target dummies when i have all my buffs applied
