So in the 1.98.5 update, there was a balance change that made spam openings more viable (for context, teams of like 8 people were able tot take down Corgi on stream using some of the variants). When the video was recorded, I thought it was a bug and seemed like an exploit because this should never work 😂. It has been nerfed a bit, but there is still viability if it helps.
Oh I've seen you in matches before! Interesting strat. I feel like isolated starts already give a decently substantial advantage though, but regardless it does seem that this might break the game a little from my testing. Good video
I agree with you about messing with long standing game mechanics. Currently, the best opening meta I have found involves spamming...which really seems counter to territorial's historical logical. Definitely odd.

I don't know if you are a tt player, but it feels like this should not work. The spam is high risk, but in the past this wasn't viable. Does this help clarify at all? :)
@@mikkelcornelius6948 Here is the flip side: if you get a spawn far away from people, it isn't risky. This was never viable in close proximity. So essentially, on this balance, your success is based on latency and how fast you can click. That seems very anti-spirit of TT :)
@@EnzoPlays_YT I’d say getting a good spawn is still skill based (unless you play random spawn). Yet I must say I didn’t know the strat was about clicking fast, I thought it was just having all your men in the field. Clicking fast is not what territorial is about
Yeah. That is my impression. I don't know if V2 or V3 is viable. I kind of took Azasi's word for it that it was done, but with testing this morning, if I am playing like a 20 player game with a significant pocket and space, I am just spamming 100%.
