- This video is my third basic battle Tutorial, guide, for Beginners In TW Three Kingdoms, and it will show you how to successfully use cavalry to charge enemy units and deal massive unit kills as well as morale damage. Not only can you charge units from the flanks and the back you can successfully charge units in the front. But you have to know about the infantry Brace stance, as that makes the difference between loosing the whole cavalry unit and dealing massive damage to infantry units. If a unit is braced a cavalry charge will fail. But if you attack while an infantry unit is moving, or it hasn't yet entered the Braced stance, which is automatic after a few seconds of not moving, you can deal grate damage to the unit.

This tactic works with generals and their units, if you are on records mode. But it will work as well in the romance mode. After learning how to charge enemy infantry, even spear and shield units, you will be able to win battles with minimal loses. Routing enemy units from the battlefield will never be easier. This can also be used in the multiplayer against human players.

Thx for the video. I have played and won my fair share of shogun2 and shogun2 fots avatar mp battles so i dont consider myself a beginner but after shogun 2 i have a hard time getting used to 3kingdoms battle system. Your videos helped a lot.

Another great video! I would love to see another video in this series! Maybe something that covers different maneuvers that you have found that work against the AI. I watched your "How to trick the AI video" and it was great, and I would love to see more tips and tricks to use against the AI. Especially when using basic units! Thanks again!

I can't find any videos on how to best use horse archers. What should I be doing with them?
Hello Landon and welcome to my channel. There are a few uses: 1. Skirmish phase before main battle to soften up enemy units which don't have shields or heavy armor. You can dodge enemy bow fire because of the speed of the horses 2. To draw in enemy horse units into an ambush because only they can chase after bow cav. 3. When you use up all your arrows slam them into enemy backs or support your melee cav in cav vs cav battles.

A few seconds. You can hover your mouse over them to see the status effects

Favorite total war is shogun 2 and empire for me
I haven't installed any mods. Did you play in the Avatar Conquest MP mode in Shotgun 2?
