Good video. I have a Bluetti EB70 but recently bought the AC70 so we could run higher wattage appliances and I've found that I can use the EB70 as a power bank connection to the AC70 which charges the AC70 the same way as you have done with the B80. This gives me about 1400w of available power.
I would go with the AC 60 it’s truly expandable you can attach the B 80 batteries, here’s our review on AC 60 ua-cam.com/video/IeneksAiuF0/v-deo.htmlsi=u8ELa4jWAIRCWThF
Let's just be clear, There's a lot of terminology being used here that might be misunderstood. The battery of the bluetti ac70 can not be expanded. If you buy the b80 for the ac70, all you're doing is charging the ac70 with another battery (b80).
@Rob-rx7ku and I think the cable required takes up the PV input which is used for solar, so if you had an external battery you couldn't even charge off grid simultaneously
Since this does not function like a true expansion battery (like how the 200Max/AC300/AC500 does with B batterys) this is just a battery charging and battery. It would be more cost effective to get a 24V 100AH lifepo4 battery - it has 1700 more WH and will output around 210w when charging.
Hello, I want to ask a question, how to charge an additional B80 battery, do I need to buy a power supply separately? The charging station can charge the B80 battery itself
I just bought the Ac70 and im concerned with watt usage. I hook my 24" tv regulary to 5 of my other power stations and it says 45 watts of out put but my ac70 keeps saying 75watts??? Do i have a Bad inverter? Thanks
Would just getting 2 ac70’s be a better value than adding a b80? Losing only abou 50wh but have two full inverters. Thinking about adding the ac70 to my ac180 I currently have vs getting a b80.
You're correct. Why buy a b80? The AC70 is cheaper, charge faster, 1000w inverter. It doesn't make sense. Alternatively, an AC180 for $649 right now it takes care of everything. My AC70 is coming today can't wait to try it.
The B80 to AC70 transfer rate seems limited to under 200 Watts; which I think is the Max DC output of the B80. Save some money and just plug the AC70 into your 120VAC wall socket, to charge it much faster. There are a lot of faster ways to charge the AC70.
If you mean the AC180 then yes but it would use a different cable and it's still in power bank mode - not a true expansion direct to the inverter but just charging the AC180 battery from the B80 battery. Theoretically, with the right cable adapter(s) you could do this with any battery to any power station that accepts DC input, as long as the range of DC input voltage is compatible with your battery's DC output voltage.
I'm traveling right now but here's a link to the b80 video it'll actually cover how to charge it also ua-cam.com/video/XoeDqt_O9Eo/v-deo.htmlsi=M7eREZbhqkfHO7sP
Since you are a Bluetti guy .... Here is an Unrelated, yet a Bluetti question: Can I get power out of the XT60 port. I need 12 Volts, but more than 10 Amps. In fact, I need 12 Volts at 20Amps ... Any ideas ? Is there a Mod or cable for that ??
That is what I thought. You can buy a Will Prouse approved lithium cheap battery and a buck inverter for a lot less than $700.00 or heck; just buy another power station for that price. I just don't get it.
Nice succinct short video which I love, great information and alway good explanations....GREAT JOB!
Thank you
Just got my AC70 two days ago...Paid $429 for it through Bluetti....This makes my 3rd Bluetti i own...
Definitely one of my favorites for its size and power
Usa or Canada?

Sorry for your loss. We'll miss Brooklyn too. 😔
Thanks 🙏🏼
would the AC60 or AC70 be better for CPAP powering or are they just different in Wh? Does the AC60 provide true external modular battery support

@@Rob-rx7ku really lol? What would be the point of that.

@THE_CHOAS_ENGINE Absolutely. My main comment was just to clear any misunderstandings of what people are getting.
Thanks for that I was not sure what that meant. I believe the AC60 is an expansion unit is it not?

It can be charged using solar or a car charger

Hi best bet is to contact Bluetti support
Can you charge the B80 with the Ac70 via that xt60 to av cable?
No you can charge the B80 using the DC port on the right top with a car charger or solar, cable sold separately

I have a Bluetti buying problem…
I understand for sure
Does the battery also expand the new 1800

Why do this when you can get Delta Max 1600w for $599.00?
I think the Delta max 1600 is Li-ion, so, dfmax is rated for fewer cycles
but how to charge b80?

Sorry I don't know how to help with that. Maybe check the Facebook Bluetti rooms?
might be better off buying a lifepo4 battery and a voltage booster
