- What does Final Fantasy VI mean to me? This is my reflection.
Hironobu Sakaguchi put together the dream team of 30 staff members driven to legitimize video games as an art form. Footage is shown of each version of the game, including the newest Pixel Remaster version. FFVI is often regarded as one of the greatest RPG's on Super Nintendo.

FFVI is the best Final Fantasy. Hands down

And after all these years, it's still the greatest game ever made!
It’s certainly stood the test of time and probably always will.
It has been almost 30 years since I first played ff3. Fond memories of playing this game along with my best friend. We would play and discuss our progress. The music , story and characters were perfect. Sadly I’ll never experience anything close to that ever again.
It was far beyond its time.
Why mention that one? This is about FF6.
Same here my friend. World of Ruin is when the game really begins.
53:30 my brother I played this back in the day. Here we were about toast, with only one character still barely alive. Then a desperation attack kicked in and finished Kefka. That character was Terra, of all people.
Dude, was such an amazing thought out video. FF6 is still one of my favorites. I love that you take the time to go into the wonderful artists who worked on this and how you went into specific tracks that you loved.

Yep, still making videos, they just take forever with it being a just a hobby. Hopefully the next video won't take a year and a half haha.

You could do a side by side and see ho ff6 and ff13 are so very similar. The linear ff6 approach and giving the player actual freedom is exactly like following that lone path in ff13 only to get dropped into Gran Pulse.
That is a good point. I was thinking of my next main series Reflection being FFXIII, so that would be a neat comparison to show. Thanks!

I know I’m in the minority, but FF6 is a masterpiece, and much better than FF7 in practically every way.
I think many feel the same as you. I like them both fairly equally. I think they both have a lot of the same strengths, but not the same weaknesses. My biggest issue with FF7 is the lackluster final dungeon. FF6 excels in this regard. My biggest issue with FF6 is there's not much to challenge you. Removing Czar Dragon from the game was a big mistake IMO. FF7 excels with having optional bosses to challenge you.
