sweet candy agree and one of my favorite Disney movies and movie in general and another of my favorite Disney movies are the jungle book , Tarzan and brother bear
Omg me too I was like freakin 2. I literally cried like a toddler when the music was too loud when something bad was happening like if the hyenas were chasing simba or mufasa's death omg I wanted to leave. Then after a couple months I told my mom I wanna go back and see the whole thing that was like watching the godfather in my time a freakin masterpiece imagine this movie in theatres daaamn. I'm a year older than the lion king by the way I was already one when it came out lol
it's funny how Jeremy Irons mentioned that the characters look so much like the actors. Yesterday i was watching The Borgias for the first time on Netflix, and i was already drilled into the first few minutes of the show because of how much Scar and Jeremy are alike. it was so creepy and awesome :3
James and Jeremy are wonderful actors but Matthew Broderick deserve the same credit, his voice is so sexy ** and of course Jonathan really embodiment the spirit of Simba.
The scene with Mufasa appearing to Simba in the clouds in the movie and in the musical stage play gets me in tears every time. I cry all the time when I watch the film because it reminds me of my father. My father was just like Mufasa when ever disobeyed him and yet I must say I learned a lot of from my father. Mufasa reminds me of my father in a lot of lines.
Even today, with the technology in the film making industry, no organization is able to produce such work that truly outstands the test of time..even Disney itself, even now in 2016 I still appreciate this piece of art that highlights the earliest stages of my life. I envy each and every one who worked on this project, must've been an amazing experience.

NaniGaming I mean come on 3D animation is beautiful I mean look at the animation in movies like toy story, finding Nemo , monsters inc , the Incredibles , shrek , despicable me , ice age , Madagascar , Kung fu panda and how to train your dragon and there’s some things 3D animation can do that 2d can’t
My favorite character is Rafiki and this my favorite Disney movie and movie in general another of my favorite Disney movies are Tarzan , the jungle book , dumbo and brother bear
We'll never have another great 2D Disney classic of this quality again. Everything was on point. Songs, art, color, morals, voice actors, life lessons. Every scene of this movie was perfect and it's probably the most "down to Earth" Disney movie ever made, not just a senseless fairy tale of princesses.
Amanda Rodriguez To be completely honest- my very favorite voices of Scar are James Horan and David Oyelowo because those guys behave like gentlemen while Jeremy Irons and Jim Cummings act like savages. In other words, Chiwetel Ejiofor will do a great job and a much better job of doing the voice of that scraggly lion than John Vickery.

James Earl Jones has such a MAJESTIC voice!!! Perfect voice for Mufasa!! His little "chat" with his son from the other side still sends shivers down my spine!!!

Nathan Lane’s contribution has been underrated - especially his singing. His start to Can you feel the love tonight was indispensable. His Hakuna Matata was fabulous.
I wish Disney would do another animal film in the footsteps of The Lion King, Bambi, The Jungle Book, The Fox & The Hound. A film set in the arctic with wolves, polar bears, orcas, snowy owls, snow hares, moose, penguins, and arctic foxes. It can loosely be based on Homer's The Odyssey and focuses on members of a wolf pack trying to make it back home to reclaim their territory and pack from an evil treacherous wolf that has taken over the pack while at the same time crossing orca infested waters, dodging poachers, and trying to evade a rogue one eyed polar bear.
They are woring on a movie about a fox who is being framed for a crime he didn't do, and a rabbit who is a cop, who is chasing the fox, The movie are called Zootopia

And I will show my daughter all the movies I watched (and the new ones although they don't give me the same feeling) but I'm sure they'll give her the same joy and moral as it gave me as a kid. Love everyone that made Disney possible. And the background singers in lion king. The african music, so beautiful.
This movie is very special to me because it was released during a very tender time in my childhood. My father had died a year prior to its release so in a lot of ways I feel very much like Simba. Of course, I didn't make the connection back then but now, almost 20 years later, I see how much I've been positively impacted by it. And for that I thank you, Walt Disney Studios.
So are we just gonna ignore the fact that Robert Guillaume is just casually standing next to a full grown male lion out in the open like that? Man's got balls of steel
It’s unbelievably visually amazing and texture detailed. Each palate each visual clip is absolutely on its own in this movie. The animal detail is over the top.
Reason why Lion King is better than Frozen is because the Lion King not only appeals to kids but adults also. I've watched this as a kid and now a young adult and realizing there are so many adult jokes 🤣
This is one of many videos that inspired me to become a movie maker. I hadn't seen it for many years, and as I watch it now, it brings tears to my eyes.
Tylar Mae To tell the truth- Robert Guillaume was an American actor who was born in 1927 and died in 2017. Also, if I should find out what happened to Zoe Leader, she was an American actress who was born in 1949 and died in 2015. And another thing, Madge Sinclair was a Jamaican actress who was born in 1938 and died in 1995.
They had a great voice cast , it's amazing !!! This is why it's one of the greatest animated films, Jeremy irons and James earl jones was beyond awesome👌🏼
Hans Zimmer is almost singularly one of the biggest reasons that The Lion King became, Disney's best animated film of all time! The animators themselves also proved that you can make a masterpiece without live-action actors! No wonder The Lion King earnt the awards it did, and for me it is the last great feature length film Disney ever produced. After that they joined with Pixar and bought us Toy Story, which is still the best animated film, but The Lion King really innovated animation! The Lion King was the first film I ever watched, I was one when it came out and I still have it on VHS
Man I used to hate 90s clothing styles, but watching this video I really like what people are wearing in the interviews. I kind of hope 90s styles come back again. Our clothing styles today are too bland and uniform. The clothing people wore in the 90s was so colorful.
Thank you so much for uploading this! I've always looked for the making-off! Now, after 25 years, I am able to watch it! Thanks! The lion king is the best movie ever! No matter how old I am - this is a masterpiece.
I love it how he sYs "with tunes I'm sure u will be humming for years to come" it amazing because it's now officially 20 years old and the songs are still such an influence on disney and media
Masterpiece! Captures the essence of Disney, from the drawings, colors, sounds and music, it all adds to the feeling this film delivers. Even if this movie gets redone this one will remain classic and original. A Favorite
Mufasa and Adult Nala are my favorites. I bet you anything Nala's voice actress is also a good singer. Her voice is both clear and soft. This whole cast is awesome.
"...lyrics you'll be humming for years to come." he was kidding when he said that, it 2017 and lion king still has the greatest musical till today since 1994(i think cant remember when it was first aired i was a toddler, but still grew up luvin it)
Moira Kelly is one of those most beautiful voices I’ve heard in an animated film, and when she sings it makes my heart melt and puts it back together 💔❤
Oh how I miss the old interviews and behind the scenes just the quality takes me back to my childhood ☺️☺️☺️ The best part of the lion king 2019 is that they brought back James as Mufasa 😍😍 no one else could of done it better
This film is incredibly majestic, and it stands tall alongside the other great epics Star Wars, Forrest Gump, The Lord of the Rings, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, and Lawrence of Arabia.
Rafiki is right again. Lion King will always be my first and favorite Disney animated movie of all time! The music, the characters, the visuals, the unforgettable opening with the most powerful ending that gives me shivers every time. Many hats off Disney, thank you for making this movie timeless
He was completely right to the fact that we will still be singing along to these songs many years after the film was released!! The Loin King is by far my favourite Disney film EVER!!! :D

The child actress for Nala as a cub was Niketa Calame.

The voice of Mr. James Earl Jones is Epic!!!
Epic
Your highest James earl Jones
The Lion King isn't just the best Disney movie ever made, it's the best movie of all time.
Well, that's debatable, but yes it's the best animated movie of all time
It’s unbelievably visually amazing and texture detailed. Each palate each visual clip is absolutely on its own in this movie. The animal detail is over the top.
But it's a shameless Kimba the white lion rip off
@@M4cTr1cK no its inspiration
@@raymondayala2603 I guess
Reason why Lion King is better than Frozen is because the Lion King not only appeals to kids but adults also. I've watched this as a kid and now a young adult and realizing there are so many adult jokes 🤣
Most of the voice cast are all classically trained actors... others tv, film.
That's good casting, no wonder it's such a classic.
This is one of many videos that inspired me to become a movie maker. I hadn't seen it for many years, and as I watch it now, it brings tears to my eyes.
R.I.P. Robert Guillaume
R.I.P Madge Sinclair
R.I.P. Zoe Leader
Who are all of these people??
Tylar Mae To tell the truth- Robert Guillaume was an American actor who was born in 1927 and died in 2017. Also, if I should find out what happened to Zoe Leader, she was an American actress who was born in 1949 and died in 2015. And another thing, Madge Sinclair was a Jamaican actress who was born in 1938 and died in 1995.

Holy shit I didn't know my Hans Zimmer made the music. I love him and everything he makes. He makes my favorite study time music.
I'm getting chills! I'm getting chills! Too much of my childhood in one setting! Jeremy Irons voicing Scar is so cool to see!
"The circle of" the production of animated films are always awesome to reminisce out and dive into even deeper.🎯☀️⛰🦁
No remake will EVER beat this masterpiece ☺️ .
i always loved that the same actor voices Darth Vadar voices Mufasa.
Man I used to hate 90s clothing styles, but watching this video I really like what people are wearing in the interviews. I kind of hope 90s styles come back again. Our clothing styles today are too bland and uniform. The clothing people wore in the 90s was so colorful.
Why did you hate those styles?
It's back already in England
it is back though at least the grunge aspect of it
@@nenabunena their style here is not grunge at all
Thank you so much for uploading this! I've always looked for the making-off! Now, after 25 years, I am able to watch it! Thanks!
The lion king is the best movie ever! No matter how old I am - this is a masterpiece.
Still the BEST Disney movie ever!!! 😍❤️
I know you are reading my comments
hans zimmer is behind the lion king and spirit soundtrack he's the fucking genious king
Want to go out?you sexy little beast
Paora Temoananui ahhhhhhh
Paora Temoananui lol!!
don't forget that he also created many masterpieces behind pirates of the carribean
Mufasa has the best voice
Helen James James Earl Jones is reprising his role in the live-action Lion King
Don’t forget Jeremy Irons. His voice is sensational!
I agree
"the tunes you'll be humming for years to come"
You have no idea buddy
They bring me tears of joy
Moira Kelly was a friend of our family. She used to watch me & my sister. This is how I remember her, big glasses and short hair!
A Favorite
why is it no one points out the similarities to 'Hamlet'?
Trust me, it's well-known already.
Because it is obvious and EVERYONE knows. I repeat: EVERYONE. You're not smart for pointing it out.
***** Oh yeah?
***** What about the children seeing this for the first time?
Quinn Clayton What about them?
Idk if it’s just me, but I love the VHS effect from this video, really brings me back to my childhood
I nearly cry while watching. It brings back all of my childhood memories. I love disney movies.!!!
Mufasa and Adult Nala are my favorites. I bet you anything Nala's voice actress is also a good singer. Her voice is both clear and soft. This whole cast is awesome.
Humming tunes for years to come? I've been singing those tunes ever since it came out! They hold a special place in my heart!
"...lyrics you'll be humming for years to come." he was kidding when he said that, it 2017 and lion king still has the greatest musical till today since 1994(i think cant remember when it was first aired i was a toddler, but still grew up luvin it)
Childhood Memories all over again. I miss this.
I wonder if Robert Guillame wasn't scared standing next to a Lion that could tear him to flesh?
Perhaps he took a shot of Brandy before the cameras rolled? Or several lol.
WebsterJake XD I guess the Lion was bored: "Who is that guy? Hmm.... oh well he seems boring so I'll watch."
Maurice Bear You, Sir, are hilarious!
+Maurice Bear your'll probably right
Lauren Fleming
Moira Kelly is one of those most beautiful voices I’ve heard in an animated film, and when she sings it makes my heart melt and puts it back together 💔❤
6:47 best line in the film
same
Paradox Master 1819 XD THAT'S ME SAYING IT
“Not you, Scar. I mean, your one of us. I mean, you’re our pal.”
@@nickp2271 charmed.
Oh how I miss the old interviews and behind the scenes just the quality takes me back to my childhood ☺️☺️☺️
The best part of the lion king 2019 is that they brought back James as Mufasa 😍😍 no one else could of done it better
It's honestly so impressive how much went into Disney movies
Dude the score of this movie is out of this world
OMG WHEN THE PERSON WHO VOICED SCAR STARTED TALKING I WAS LIKE OMGMGMGGOGOGOGOGOGOGMGMMG
Hamiltrash #1 Jeremy Irons
"it's sort of like being part of the magic that you grew up with as a child"
So many years later and childhoods are still being shaped by her voice
This film is incredibly majestic, and it stands tall alongside the other great epics Star Wars, Forrest Gump, The Lord of the Rings, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, and Lawrence of Arabia.
Rafiki is right again. Lion King will always be my first and favorite Disney animated movie of all time! The music, the characters, the visuals, the unforgettable opening with the most powerful ending that gives me shivers every time. Many hats off Disney, thank you for making this movie timeless
Why didn't they introduce Rowan Atkinson as Zazu?
They didn't mention the name of Ed's Voice Actor either.
+omnitrixian Jim Cummings, a veteran of the voice-acting business. He also voiced Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Darkwing Duck & many, many others.
+Bumble Douche Jim Cummings also sang the very end of "Be Prepared", Scar's evil cackle, because Jeremy Irons couldn't stretch his voice that far.
Danielle Musella well if i remember correctly he blew out his vocal cords so good thing Jim Cummings could take over
He is Mr. Bean
He was completely right to the fact that we will still be singing along to these songs many years after the film was released!! The Loin King is by far my favourite Disney film EVER!!! :D
