Wow… you just clarified what OTF traders are for me. I didn’t think about the fact that a bigger player could be an OTF, like an institution. I always imagined smaller, inexperienced traders in masses driving the markets. What a fantastic piece of knowledge.
Nope. Retail only accounts for 5% of the movement. Most of what we see is the big firms/traders and their algos.

@@randydominguezmusic That's why charts go parabolic because price has turned the corner and now as price change accelerates all the OTF traders get triggered into the action and the tangent of the parabola becomes a straight line.

I still struggle with execution so cannot help you with this. Just keep watching his content over and over and follow the market when its moving. Be obsessed with learning and you will understand. It took me 1.5y to understand it

I wonder on the weekly templates that when markets are closed for weekend, does the big market makers plan out the entire week of what they are going to do? I feel like they measure by the pip for the entire week. To be honest, I feel like they have the entire year planned out
Probably, the only thing we can do is wait for the opportunities, retracement, or profit taking, let others guess and lose money
A lot of times they just have levels that price hits where their limit orders will fill.

Can you do a video on locking in the low or high? Many times I see a break in structure making a higher high just to see a rebreak to lower low low that stops me out. .. But you are saying ONLY get in when you KNOW it is locked in. Maybe I have just not seen enough of them to have any confidence but I sure don't KNOW it is locked in for the day before I am taking the trade, I am taking it and praying it is in, once I know it is in it is too late.., she is long gone.
Three pushes into the high or the low can signify that a high/low is locked in. Classical charting patterns like an M or W can also lead to that conclusion. This must be matched with timing ofcourse

@@bradpitt5595 pls clarify, and lets just talk about push to the high to make it simple. so if i see 3 pushes to the high from London Session in the 1st 30 minutes of NY opening, and then a False/Failed break happens forming an M pattern, does this mean that Market has locked in the LONG break out traders and then now goes opposite direction into the London lows where they put their stop losses? am I correct?

I am testing a 1:5 r:r . 50% winrate. D1-2-3, session 15mins 1-2-3 .50% winrate if I don’t break even after it reach 1:1. But if I break even then it jump to 80- 90% . But I think it’s better to take a few loss and make more money because I see that most of the winning trade comes back to break even then go vertical
How many years you backtest it ?

Seems to be a million different variations of these templates how can you tell when a trade is one a Wednesday or a Friday even? I’ve watched these videos so many times I just don’t see how we are supposed to determine when a trade is happening

i have been trying to mail you buy seem to cant get through.
When you are adding size to 3 day setups before they move, do you still take an early partial? I'm caught between having 2 or 3 trades and closing one early, as the risk to reward is not ideal.
I break the trade up into quarters or thirds. I always take some off at the first break. Measured move second target. Then a trailer. I always take some off. You can always get back in.

The more I follow Stacey the more I see what the pro’s and masters are doing.
I don’t think on a day 3 parabolic with shorts trapped they’re risking 1%. Or when they have major edge.
I also think if you were to advice them to risk so little when they have edge that you’d get laughed out of town 😂

Now in the year 2024- MAY the Yen is 20-year low against the U.S. Dollar.
I've watched so many of these videos and today has totally baffled me, if someone could explain why gold went parabolic when it wasn't the 3rd day or the 3rd session pump I'd really appreciate it. The only thing I can think of is it's setting up for tomorrow pump as that would be the 3rd red day if I'm correct 🙏

That was a blowoff day three trend continuation move. Friday was day 1. Confirmed when Monday broke and closed outside of Fridays low. We then had three levels of rise, PFL- Asia / PFH - London / gap time - consolidation. The consolidation was also outside of Fridays closing range. Off of round numbers

Tried to "know" the low was in. Bought NAS in 6 sessions down BTS (Session trade), Pin Hammer Engulfing, close over the 5m 20ma plus timing. I put no SL in because I always put it at the exact place it will retrace to anyway (Hence waited to "know" bottom was in).
Blew my demo in one trade when the floor dropped out and it went parabolic against me.
Been doing this since Christmas.. 1st parabolic I ever caught ! Congrats me !
I'm pretty sure I am retarded now, If not retarded I don't know what the hell is happening -Other people can supposedly trade BTS and catch parabolic's, I can only see the setups afterwards, anything I trade loses. Scalped most of day and was green "made some pips", exactly what I don't want to do, went all in on an actual BTS in the window... ugh.

You tried to buy a market that is in breakout from the previous day's LOD. It was a Pump and Dump. You bought the Pump before the Dump. Lower lows, lower highs.
