The 2019 National Memorial Parade televised the Korean War where 1.8M Americans served in theater and 30 Korean War veterans participated in the ceremony. More than 36,000 Americans were killed in the Korean War which started when North Korean invaded the South in June 25,1950 . Currently, there are 7704 Americans missing in action. An armistice was signed in 1953 and there is no peace treaty ratified.
