I love playing this song bc the chords are super easy and I do super cool sounding arpeggios that sound beyond. For me personally it’s easy and improvisation which is helping to improve my playing by ear but not the reading music part 🤦🏻♀️. You’re tutorials are awesome!! 🥰

Does anyone understand how the key modulates when she sings “under the sea, wish I could be part of your world?” I’m trying to spice up the chords here but everything sounds horrible since I don’t fully understand modulation yet! Thanks💛

I'm attempting to understand the theory behind sounds I like, so the simplicity of this is very useful to me. in F major or D minor, slows down at this point (so it sticks out more), accidental (Eb, which is the second accidental of the next key in circle of 4ths), input Db as well, which is apart of minor scale. Like poetry, it slows down for this emotional point, creating emphasis, used notes that draw your attention to it, the accidentals in the bass. Have to figure out the individual chords.

can someone like tell me the keys since even if this tutorial is slow its still pretty hard for me to follow since i am a begginer and only know how to play the fist 5 notes with one hand but i need to learn a song with both hands by the end of the month so if you can right the keys in one of the replys i would be very happy and will subscribe to your channel to show you my support! (P.S i also dont know how to read sheet music)
What I do is put the video speed to 0.25 and I start playing with only my right hand first then when I'm confident I start playing with my left Something else that helps me learn different songs is when I make a mistake I go straight to the beginning and don't move on until I get it right
I'm not a beginner but when I was as Pam ham said I put it into 0.25 and played with my right hand first and then learnt my left hand I then learnt a little chunk and played that over again in till I could do it at a pace, once i had learnt it at a pace i then learnt it faster I then learnt another chunk and so on (this all toke me a week and I again was a beginner so I hope this helps you coz it helped me)

the accidentals are in the bass, so it gives it that sour note but doesn't sound wrong because the soprano is still "correct"
in the actual song, there are swash arpeggios to make particular notes of the melody stick out. that's also a thing in poetry
