I genuinely don't think Thornhill themselves realise how impactful this album has been on people's lives. It's like it's from a different dimension, a dimension of pure soul and emotion... something that cannot be replicated without real sacrifice, it's just too good. I pray that they make something as good as this some day... it's incredible.

music is literally from a different dimension bro. It's deep within the subconscious of musicians who through practice learn to bring it through from the deepest parts of their minds. When bands collectively come together it's like their spirits unite like a potion of subconscious minds. So yeah, you're right

Jacob is an amazing vocalist he’s in my top ten favorite male vocalist of all time you should check out his side project called cherry if your into indie pop if it’s not your style that’s fine.

Sometimes the vocals are too altered I’m not sure if it’s pitch correction but it almost certainly sounds like it is. I just discovered this band and I dig this album but I’m hoping there’s less fucking around with the vocals and they can stay a bit more genuine. But yes his voice is really good!

This song has me in my feels while I’m going through a breakup and losing my family
I started to play NieR: Automata recently because it caught my interest and now that I hear this song once again, it fits almost perfectly with the game (not to mention a song of the soundtrack has like the same melody to it but more dramatic) and I love it so much. If you haven’t played the game then I seriously recommend it :DD

I agree Thornhill is in my top 3 favorite Inspiration and big Influence in music right up there with RED and Epica.
Idk if it’s just because I haven’t really heard this one completely months ago or just because it’s another depressing Ohio winter but I’m really enjoying the ethereal’ness of the song. Hitting all the right feels when it’s nothing but cloudy skies out.

3:14 this is my favourite mix. WHAT reverb is on the vocals?! I can her them so clear, and the high and mids are beautiful and have such a short decay, but blends into the guitar harmony and just FITS. Wonderful stuff.. love the song.

I discovered thornhill back in 2021 and checked their music last year also saw them live with moodring on the across the heroine tour plus got to meet 3/5 since now their ex rhythm guitarist became full time manager with thornhill now.

Unless my speakers are just acting up is it me or does it sound like vocals are kinda slacking and need to be upped a bit sound wise
vocals are very ambient in this record, but vocals still stand out because the singing itself is very clear and sharp,

Everyone talking about how amazing the singer is but to be honest I prefer this band without him, just as an instrumental band. Maybe it's because I'm pretty new to them and I'm not really used to his voice. However, I feel that the instrumentals are on such a level that it's almost a crime for vocals to go on top of them and hide some details. Either way this band rocks
I can agree with what you're saying to a degree... The instrumentals in this album are literally breathtaking! I feel like a wave of sound carries me from start to finish, but I feel the vocals capture the soul of what they have created and ties it up perfectly! Just my opinion
@@PapaSriracha_ I totally agree man. Back then the vocals didn't resonate with me but I can say that I enjoy them now. He is really a unique singer and although he isn't my favourite as of now, his style is growing on me
Worse comes to worst man, they have released an instrumental version of the album which you can enjoy! I'm just stoked there's a group of people out here that dig this album as much as I do!!
