A thousand individuals and over 55 organisations such as South Asian Solidarity Collective, WAYVE Foundation, Lawyers Collective, CPI(M) and Adivasi Women’s Network, have written an open letter to the Chief Justice of India D. Y. Chandrachud in the R.G. Kar rape and murder case on Sunday (September 15, 2024). The petition has mentioned nine demands, such as identification, arrest and exemplary punishment of the rapists and murderers. The Supreme Court must change the composition of the National Task Force (NTF) and include doctors, students, activists and lawyers from the regional fraternity for an effective and informed fact finding regarding the rape and murder of the trainee doctor and institutional lapses, corruption rackets in the health sector.
रविवार (15 सितंबर, 2024) को आर.जी. कर बलात्कार और हत्या मामले में एक हजार से अधिक व्यक्तियों और साउथ एशियन सॉलिडेरिटी कलेक्टिव, वेव फाउंडेशन, लॉयर्स कलेक्टिव, सीपीआई (एम) और आदिवासी महिला नेटवर्क जैसे 55 से अधिक संगठनों ने भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश डी. वाई. चंद्रचूड़ को एक खुला पत्र लिखा है। याचिका में बलात्कारियों और हत्यारों की पहचान, गिरफ्तारी और अनुकरणीय सजा जैसी नौ मांगों का उल्लेख किया गया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट को राष्ट्रीय टास्क फोर्स (एनटीएफ) की संरचना में बदलाव करना चाहिए और प्रशिक्षु डॉक्टर के बलात्कार और हत्या और संस्थागत खामियों, स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में भ्रष्टाचार के रैकेट के बारे में प्रभावी और सूचित तथ्य खोजने के लिए क्षेत्रीय बिरादरी से डॉक्टरों, छात्रों, कार्यकर्ताओं और वकीलों को शामिल करना चाहिए।
