You know, it's weird but in this interview alone, which I know was a while ago, Paul Banks looks like/reminds me of Kristen Stewart! I'm not insulting anyone with that either, I'm a fan! Anyone else see it? Not just the short blonde hair and maybe the clothes and beanie sometimes but the mannerisms, too. Also, no wonder the new collaboration project. Paul has been singing the Wu's praises for years!

A band doesn't get paid to appear on a show like 120 Minutes, or Subterranean. This is pure promotion for them and whatever it is they're promoting whether it be an appearance or a new album etc. There are paid interviews where the network is running a special o the band or artist but Interpol weren't ever at the level where they would have something like that done on them. That's for the Mariah Careys and Madonnas of the industry.
