Be under no illusion that there’s no chaos here. The spreadsheet is the tidy bit but there are piles of patterns, bags, threads, fabric waiting to cut and shopping lists for the missing elements. 😂 All fun, just a mess! I’m hoping to pull it together into a neater arrangement by the new year so I can just reach into a box and pick up a stitch. Best laid plans… I hope your throat tickle clears up soon and you feel fully recovered and invigorated to get to your stitching and planning too. 😘
Feeling sooooo much better this week! Trying to get my exchange stitches finished then back into planning - although with all those new charts the list needs rejigging again 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Met another 74 stitcher at the weekend who is also planning 50 new starts next year! More crazy people 😜

Great to ‘see’ you again Sally! You’ve been making great progress with your WIPs! Sorry to hear about all that frogging though🙈. I had a similar experience with my Huckleberry Farm piece last year and got so cross with myself that I put it away for quite a few months. I’m glad to say that I’m working on it again now! Hope you’ll be feeling better soon!
Thank you Lynette - feel so much better this week. Now we are just about to start on the busiest time of the year 🥴 It does help to put something down for a while once you've frogged it doesn't it! Glad I swapped to the Spring lady and hopefully when I come to do Winter again it will seem like a distant memory!

Lovely to see you tonight Sally. Glad you are on the mend, hope you are fully recovered soon. Loved seeing all your houses. Shame about the miscounting in the Barbara Anna piece, it's easily done especially when you're not feeling 100%. I'm stitching a birth sampler for a friends grandson. It's the world with lots of animal motifs. I counted off the wrong shark & Australia got very close to Asia before I noticed. I know kangaroos can jump but this was stretching the imagination a bit to far. It's now back in its rightful place & the end is in sight👏👏👏
So looking forward to your 50 starts with Sarah. I'll be joining you both with the pin cushion in January & hope to use the prompts to give me some inspiration in 2024. Mines going to be a MFE year using the Roxy Floss Co threads I picked up at Stitch in London.
I planning on joining you with some smalls in-between the larger projects.

I enjoyed your video and am a new subscriber. I found you through SewmeSarah, though I also watch some of the other flosstubers you mentioned. I hope you are completely better soon. Your projects are beautiful, and I look forward to watching what projects you and Sarah add next year. I live in the Midwest US, and started stitching when I was probably in middle school. I had a many year break and started stitching again in summer 2020. I used to only have one or two projects at a time but that changed after finding Floss Tube.. Take care Sally.

Oh 40 count is lovely to stitch on. It can take a little bit if getting used to and some of the hand dyed fabrics can seem even smaller but with a good needle and light it makes such a beautiful delicate stitch. Thanks for following and happy stitching! Xx

Great catch up Sally...thank you. I too, am turning 50 soon-ish, and have similar plans, but they may just stay as plans since 50 wips on top of my current 36-ish..is totally unrealistic!

I totally feel your pain about your winter lady, how gutting, soon be a distant memory though once you push through 💞 they look amazing side by side. I keep thinking about your 50 starts, I’ve bought so much this last couple of weeks I could easily fill 50 slots 😂 then for my 50th (Jan ‘25) I wonder if I could aim for 50 finishes for the year I turn 50??? Hope you feel better very soon Sally ❤ will maybe try and join you for one of your projects next year, to tie in with me and friends celebration of 50 years (we started school same day when we were 5 🥰) I have been doing full coverage mainly but have been buying others to do. Are you going to any retreats next year?
I was feeling soooo much better but now have a cold 🤦♀️ I hate all the bugs at this time of year! I'm already booked for a day at the Wrexham Retreat better year and I will go to Stitch in London again. Maybe see what else I can do too. How about you? Are you going to Crewe again? Xxx
