Marina village is always great to walk. Pizza is awesome. Music is always upbeat and fun. Lots of shopping.
Marina Village is adjacent to the Atlantis resort towers, a short stroll from the building. It is a nice little village with plenty of restaurants and a few shops, mainly fashion and souvenirs. During daytime it is not so happening but in the evening it gets very lively and there is quite a crowd, also meaning restaurants easily fill up. There is quite a variety of restaurants, from Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's to a steakhouse, Italian, Bahamian, french and so on, quite a good choice.
Whether staying at Atlantis or somewhere else in the area, the village is definitely worth a visit at night.
Join the Junkanoo Parade every Friday evening in the Marina Village to see the dancers and their bands gather in traditional dress and then start the Rush Out. Think beautiful bright colors and elaborate costumes, meets marching band parade. This is truly a sight to be seen and experienced.
The music gets going at 6pm, so bring your dancing shoes and be ready for a good time. Our Junkanoo performers love to see you and your family join in on the fun.
Local artists are also on hand showing off some of the best original art on the island including paintings, sculpture, and other handcrafted pieces. The kids can even buy a traditional Junkanoo mask and decorate it in their own special way.
