I can't even imagine what Jesse Nieminen feels starting this round, looking around and going "yup, there's Wysocki, McMahon, McBeast and ....myself. Yep yep."
If Iso Seksikas (sorry can’t get the hat on the a on this phone) discs are printed there may not be an option outside of buying. Those guys are awesome!
A few minor tweaks to the graphics would make this coverage top tier. 1. Always show the player's score. Don't cover it with the "birdie" badge. I want to know that they got a birdie and what affect that had on the score. (side note, do we really need Innova logos on literally every score badge? That's a bit much) 2. The "birdie" graphics were all the wrong colors. Par should be gray, birdie should be green, eagle or better blue, bogey red, etc. 3. Always show the hole distance, not just during the intro 4. OB indicators
Great coverage, great commentary, great play! SpinTV, as you continue working on graphics, it would be helpful to have the player's updated score along with the "Birdie" "Par" etc. graphic. When a hole finishes, it's nice to know exactly where each player is at. Currently, once players start making putts, we don't know how their scores compare until after the drone footage on the following hole. That's really my only critique -- everything else is superb!
That's really the only thing bothering me too! I was also wondering why the drone footage looks garbage in every video (including Jomez). At least the better drones themselves have good cameras, but is it because of the packaging/encoding of the moving image or where does it come from?
I love finding this after so many years. I'm going to see the -23 Nokia open and I'm going to make the "iso seksikäs" shirt in there. You better be there Iso Seksikäs!
Thank you for the excellent coverage and commentary! Side note: red is a counterintuitive colour for birdies. Why not green for birdies and red for bogeys? Use a neutral colour for par.
Lol: Big Jerm - "That was what Anakin Skywalker was not able to do". @Big Jerm: You actually were there in the galaxy far far away? Big Jerm: Finns don't play forehand. Nieminen: Plays mostly forehand from tee.
is it just me or.....DO THESE COLORS MAKE NO SENSE: Birdie is best case but is depicted using the color red (usually bad 0 should be used on Bogey +) Par is an okay result but is depicted using the color green (usually a great result - should be used for birdie) Bogey is black - neutral (should be used on par). SPIN TV - Really? What are you guys smoking?
That sort of color association is cultural, for example in Korean stock exchanges red is associated with gain and blue with loss. Maybe that's not the case here but I find it interesting.
So, I was thinking at about 22:18, when I saw the basket wobble a bit after Paul hit his short putt - maybe a little base wobble on the basket is effective to prevent spit-outs. Do manufacturers or the folks who install the courses think about that at all? I don't mean a ton, but just a tiny amount of give on the stem of the basket might be a good thing. Or maybe that's really dumb. I dunno.
I like Rick most but if one thing is proven... over the long run Paul always wins it. He’s the most consistent. It’s more will the tournament stop before he comes back
I'm so confused with red for birdies, green for par, and black for bodgey. Logic would dictate; Birdie - Green Par - Black Red - Bogey Great coverage though!
It's too bad this course cannot stay there permanently around the year as I live less than a thousand feet from this place. And as a local I can tell you that these holes ARE NOT as short as this lead card makes them look like, quite far from it.
the trees that populate the first fairway look like poplars to me. birch and poplar share a lot of similar looks and live in the same places, so not egregious mistake.
The Era of the Forehand is indeed upon us! Much love to you Big Sexy for being two of the biggest influences on my own forehand game. Once I started forehanding Firebirds and Thunderbirds, I haven’t looked back.

I would love to see if eagle can throw a football and baseball. Cuz this kid has to have the strongest forehand on the planet. He can standstill a 400+ foot pure hyzer. Its truly baffling to watch

Gotta love these guys, Iso Seksikäs! Nate's pronounce in finnish language is almost as good as locals, so yeah.
Ei ole.
Gotta love the Iso Seksikäs commentary

We need a "Iso Seksikäs" stamp, like, right now!
Thank you spin tv for getting the best in the business for commentary.

You are spot on with why this coverage is sub-par. Great summary!
That crowd is HUUUUGE!!! Awesome to see!
The tomorrow's final will be insane.

Spin TV, y’all out here killing it! What a tournament too!
God damn it. Can't even get a round of coverage in without some Star Wars spoilers.
HAHAHA my bad! Hilarious
Awesome video, watching this in 2024, the crowd looks amazing
"I will take Paul out of anyone in the world at that distance".....

"Also Paul"... ROFL

q1006662 couldn’t agree more. And why cover the scores once they’ve holed-out? And why only show hole distances during the hole previews only?
