What a wonderful time to be a crafter living in Europe! All of the Baby Boomers who were born and raised in the 40s and 50s are filling your thrift shops with all these goodies as they are in the winter of their lives or maybe have even passed and their family is now giving their goodies away! I knew it would be hard to watch this as I am extremely jealous of your ability to find such wonderful Treasures! 😄We have absolutely nothing like this here on the small island where I live! 🙁 Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you. I loved watching every minute of this video - so many treasures! I urge you to finish the hand-made folio/journal...As an older crafter who envisions my children sorting through all my "stuff," I would love to think that someone will give my unfinished projects the life they were meant to have.

I’m in awe❣️ Excellent haul❣️ Then, when you opened the first Instagram order my mouth fell open with that stamp book❣️ The most beautiful things that can be found to make our journals seem to be in n your side of the world❣️Here in Iowa, USA, I haven’t found anything as wonderful that you have. This is unbelievable! I have the same exact Merchandise Stores coupon book! I lived in the area where the Island Creek coal mines were. I lived there after the company stores closed. I got mine from a used book store. Imagine that book being in the Netherlands!!! Small world.

I love the word haberdashery as well. In England we use it to mean small items used in sewing, such as buttons, zips, poppers, hooks and eyes and sewing thread. I believe the Americans say notions.

I love your op shop hauls, it amazes me how you find so much interesting stuff. I went op shopping today haha. One of the op shops here, well, it's cheaper to buy new stuff. I did find some lace at another op shop.
Some of the thrift shops I find have that same problem . But I never visit those for a second time .

Gisteren heb ik deze al bekeken maar vergeten een comment te typen.
Haberdashery is zo’n leuk woord! Ik ben heel benieuwd hoe je al die stofjes gebruikt en ook al die spelletjes. Hopelijk zien we nog een keer hoe je bv de Lotto gebruikt.
De boeken zijn ook weer geweldig, die kan ik ook nooit laten liggen hoor.

Hi Margareth and all, I was wondering if you have a solution for glossy or semi-gloss stickers? I have tried using my finger to coat them with a small amount of matte medium, but that didn't leave me with a smooth un-textured finish. Any ideas, anyone??
Can you include some book pages with text other than English in your shop? I’ve never found any in the USA.
