I reviewed and test drove thoroughly both vehicles before ending up leasing a Giulia Ti Sport loaded with all the optionals as the one in your video.The only difference is mine is in Misano Blue with red calipers, which is wonderful. So I test drove both of them and read all the experts reviews in the US and international. The Giulia has been proven to be the best sport sedan in the market at the moment. All the awards is receiving are just confirming it. Even in Germany, at the home of the competitors, it won a well known award as Best Sport Sedan under $50K. After few months of ownership I can tell you that this has been one of the best decision I've made in car purchase. It is a really amazing car in several aspects and you have to drive it for some time in order to appreciate it. The price of a loaded Giulia is equal to a Ghibli, considering the huge discount they are offering. The problem is, even if it is still a beautiful car, the Ghibli didn't deliver as it is supposed to be in term of overall quality. International reviews are showing the Ghibli as loosing in comparison with the ones for the Giulia. Maserati should be in a different league of luxury then Alfa, instead we are talking about comparable interior quality and exterior style and design. Driving dynamics are even better in the Giulia: best steering and handling you can have in this kind of vehicle. I used to own sport sedan from BMW and AUDI. This is my opinion based on personal experience. ;)

Hey Ron, I want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart for the content haha, I should have said it long ago but get stuck in the videos. I crashed my Maserati over 4 months ago now and its still in the shop waiting for parts to arrive. I subscribed to your channel because I love the sound of these damn cars so much I just can't get enough and the content keeps me going and moving forward while mine is in the shop haha. I've owned some sweet rides but Maserati is by far the cheapest and most enjoyable sports car on the road and works great as a daily driver. When I crashed my insurance wanted to write it off but I just couldn't do it, man, as it's just so unique and the one I have (GT sport) is quite rare in NZ so just couldn't say goodbye. We have plenty of GTs and stradale here but the GT sports are hard to get here and just have a nicer look in my opinion not sure what it is but yea. Keep it up :)
Wait for the 350hp. Rumour has it that it is currently being developed.

My dad just copped a fully specced out 2017 Giulia Ti Sport with extended warranty for around 48,000 from a dealer in Ohio. Unreal deal. The guy is selling them at insanely aggressive prices. For all the technology, power, and looks you get, easily worth twice what he paid for. What a car...

It looks beautiful, i agree with you it's also not a combo i would go for a red on red. Honestly, i like the car and i'm liking the enthusiastic attitude you show towards the car, clearly you enjoy it and it brings a smile to your face. Just on that reason alone it's worth buying as a car main duty is to make the driver feel happy, right?
Yes you are right. I dont like to make emotional purchases but its hard not to when these cars put such a smile on your face!
The Giulia is a gorgeous car, however I am not sure about red on red configuration. I think it should be in red with either cuoio or black interior

Thanks to your videos I love these cars as much as you do but the 280hp for that price range is not enough, I will definitely wait for a more potent engine available for the sport.

Having the rear diffuser gloss black would look wrong! The reason the window trim is gloss is because you can tint the windows and it will match the gloss and look more sleek. Anyways good car!

It is a lovely looking car, but i think they have made it look a little too much like the BMW 3 series. In fact it seems a cross between 3 series BMW and C class Merc. My biggest thought = in a couple of years time it will just be another Alfa on the road, whereas the Maserati will always stand out and be different.

Thank you for the video! If you can please ask the guys from Alfa Romeo why did they quit using the 3 dial design in the center of the interior. The 159 has it and it has a very impressive effect specially at night ;-) the Giulia should have it too I think.

Well I had it for a good few monts now :-) I think that my favorite thing is that it gives me the full package: wonderful emotions,sportiness in handling but also the big trust (the rest of the world will not agree but well) that nothing will brake despite being Italian and beautiful because underneath is German :)). Almost everything is Bosch.
BTW back in the day as far as I know Ferrari used a lot of Bosh parts too.
Back when I ordered my 159, they didn't allowed red with red interior, and that was for a good reason: it looks tacky.
Probably a step down from ghibli, but def a step up from most typical luxury cars like bmw infiniti and lexus
I like this car so much, specially if it has *bright technico rims* which is available for the Q.V. version. and waiting for the new Giulia 4 cylinders 2.0 litre engine with 350 hp.

Have you ever considered Jaguar? An XF is in a different league to this or the Ghibli and similar price too but much cheaper if having the same options.

Not enough HP for the price. I like the style and I see some Maserati in it, same paddle shifters, same rear center pulldown arm rest, and the little registration stowage under the steering wheel left side. For me, I would not give up my Maserati for this. I feel this would be a downgrade.

2018 brings Android Auto and Apple Carplay a demonstration on that would have been nice.

Got a 2017 in Trofeo White Sport TI Fully Loaded AWD last week. They picked us up in a Ghibli, it was nice also but I want to complement the Giulia with a Stelvio Quadrifoglio.Wanting to know if you can remap the ECU so that you can get 350 hp which is more than enough for the 2.0 without reneging the warranty. Other than that it drives like a dream. In 2017 Alfa only made altogether 117,000 vehicles. I bet you Toyota made that amount in the base Camry only. Now Toyota makes a safe and reliable vehicle but I think you know where I am going on this one. Hope Everyone is having a Happy and Safe Memorial Day Holiday. That’s my car, but I don’t have the upgraded stereo. Only other difference I see is the color of brake calipers; mine are red. Car has been good after 13K miles, but I dislike the driver seat auto backup feature & the hood gets stuck unless I press down a few times to release. Feels quick for a 4-cylinder; as fast as the 335i that I traded (despite Car & Driver stats).
Congrats on your car, issues you're having a bummer but just minor issues. Glad the car has been treating you will and yeah I believe in dynamic mode if feels like you''re getting way more power than listed.
Definitely a used Guilia QV! But, that Guilia is great and if you really want to go for a new car that one looks one of the best spec one.

Say mayne. .. that's it right there. I would definitely go white with rosso interior. Having driven the Ghibli back to back with the Alfa...its a transition that is not that hard to adjust to. I like them both. .. but I think its a foregone conclusion with regards to the content of your channel.

Replace it only if you feel that this giulia can give you the same satisfaction. I don't talk about speed now but overall and specially when you drive it you should feel content. But look I think I have a great idea for you. I will write it down on Facebook for you ;-)
I think the Ti is better for daily useing. But if you just wanna cruise, on weekends, trackdays, go for the QV!
As for me, you should buy new Ghibli GranSport Q4 with 21-inch wheels and 430-hp petrol engine ;) And this one will had new multimedia and many others. Alfa is exellent, but Maserati is Maserati...

I just test drove one yesterday.. Amazing car. the motor is the best part of the car. The up grade stereo sucks, bass wasnt there. the car handles like a sports car. my only concern is reliability. Turbo 4 cylinder? I cant find anything regarding motor build. injections, pistons ect. I have heard owners complaining about uneven tire wear. They have runflats that cost $360 each and last about 10k miles. The dealer doesnt seem to wanna sell these cars. Money factor too high.
You're keeping it real like your user name haha. I havent seen many motor issues with the Alfa's if anything I see electrical issues. But yeah the run flats are priced that way because its eliminating a need for the spare.Where did you test drive the Alfa at yesterday?

The most issues you'll have with this car is electrical recalls. Thats pretty much all Ive been seeing the past several months. Other than that the cars have been running great.

May wait for the new GT if Im in the market at that time but you're right, I may get bored with the Ti over the QV.
My suggestion is- if you're in the market for a used Quadrifoglio, I'd keep in mind that it might just cost as much, if not more to run than your Ghibli S. Simply because of that bespoke Ferrari running gear. Then again, cars like these are bought with your heart rather than your head ;)

I love the Giulia Ti for a few reasons: handling, engine and transmission response, styling, comfort, steering. One thing I know is that red paint is the quickest color to fade. Just look at your interstate signs. You'll see blue and pink. If you garage your car, you'll be OK. Also, I agree with Zsolt Reti's comment 100% I'm not sure what your trade-in value will be, but if any deal results in the beneficial savings of monthly out-go$$ then it's worth considering at this point of transition in your life. Go here for some due diligence on the brand and the Ti: www.giuliaforums.com/forum/ Believe it or not I admire the position you're in. If you didn't drive the Ghibli at 9/10ths on a regular basis then you won't miss the power, and I'm sure you'll appreciate the handling. Where I live in SW Ohio I have yet to see a Giulia on the road, so they are rare, and I consider that a plus of exclusivity. Granted the closest Alfa dealership is 26 miles away in another state, but that does not deter my thinking. Thanks for both of these links. Really appreciate you helping steer me in the right direction. I'd def be upside down in the Ghibli as the depreciation is God awful lol. The dealership would buy it back they said but Id have to cover the difference which I'm not sure it is yet since I havent gotten it appraised but it may be worth it in the long run. In the process of figuring that out now. Good call on the red. My next choice would be white. Giulias are still rare here. I see maybe one every two weeks. Same with Stelvios. Levante's a little more as they've been out longer. Gonna check these links out, thanks again!
As long as the car you choose fits into your plan (short term plan or long term plan) to reinvent yourself and you perform your due diligence regarding your decision you'll be at peace with your choice. Do used QVs appeal to you? I've located several with a simple search. Good luck, but mostly good sense!
Rosso Alfa is from the top of the shelf of all the red colors. I own '06 Alfa 159 2.4 in Rosso Alfa paint. It's +10 years old car but color is still great. There is no fading at all. Also, other red Alfas in my hometown are looking pretty cool and fresh in that particularly color. No other car manufacturers have more lasting and better quality red color. Rons Rides if you go Alfa go Rosso Alfa, it's a right thing to do :)

Maybe Drazen has a point about that particular red paint. It's worth looking at some older Alfas of that color or talking with more Alfa owners about it (Alfa forums again). If it's as Drazen says then go for the red, by all means. It's a great color on the Giulia. My concerns about red cars, (and interstate signs) remains, but in the world of car paints there may be exceptions I'm not aware of. Hopefully, and sadly not all car paints are equal.

If you want to have people come to your UA-cam channel, and be successful, the QV is the way to go. Nobody (or let's say fewer people) will be interested in someone owing a lesser spec version of a Giulia. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to afford to pay for the QV only from the traffic you'll get just by owning one. You could do a proper vlog of owning one and that will most definitely pay for itself. You just have to step up your game a bit with a proper camera for artsy-er shots, a better mic for the sound and some scripting. So if I would be you, I'd go for a new QV, factory order if possible, and have the blog style videos about the ownership, ordering, and whatnot, pay for the car.
As I told you before so many times, the Alfa is a step down from the Maserati, but I guess you have to go through that Alfa ownership to realize it :)

I just may need to save some money if I pursue something different which is why I was contemplating the ti. But a daily vlog with the car would be interesting. If you get a second hand one, you won't be able to go through all the ordering process and all that, and you'll miss some important videos like the delivery and everything else. I don't know, it's your money in the end, I just suggested that you could have UA-cam pay for your car if you'd do something like that. Even if I don't have time for something like this, I have thought about something similar (buying and owning Dodge Challenger in Europe vlog thing - they don't sell Dodge or Chrysler in Europe, that was the appeal), but, unfortunately, UA-cam pays peanuts unless you are in the UK or US.

Maybe I come from the older gen that has too many memories hahaha. I also drive a Maserati among other higher profile cars so I might be bias hehehe.
