Absolutely one of the best country songs ever. Still attached to it in 2024. This guy is criminally underrated.

When you aren’t necessarily a fan of country music, but you showed up because of leverage and ended up listening to the rest of his music😂. I’m so very excited for the leverage reboot. I’m going to be slightly upset (not really) if his long hair isn’t back

big fan of leverage, not a big fan of country, so when i heard that christian kane made music, i decided to give it a try, and i gotta say not only is he a great actor, he is a great singer and i have never regretted looking this up

+MrBosco52 That's actually how I found out he was a singer. I normally am not a country fan, but Christian is the whole package, real deal. I will watch/listen to/be excited about anything he's in or involved with.
+Rebecca Galbreath - Me, too! I immediately bought the CD and have since gotten at least one more. I made the mistake of leaving them at my sweetheart's apartment (along with most of my favorite CDs-his sound system was better than mine) and when he suddenly died, his daughter would not return them to me, saying that if they were at her dad's place, they were now hers.
That's really messed up. I'm sorry for your loss too. :( Christian re-released his CD, btw. Did everything HIS way this time. You should check it out if you haven't already. :)

I just heard this song for the first time as I sat here while my boyfriend watched Leverage. I must say, it stopped me in my tracks and made me listen. It's hard for a song to do that for me. I LOVE this song.
I absolutely hate country music. However, much like the English language there are exceptions, Christian Kane has the voice of an angel. Not only was this guy, in my opinion, the best "hitter" ever played on t.v. he also has inspired me to give country music another chance.

I'm by no means a country fan in the least. But this is a GREAT song, not just a great country song. I'll admit, I was floored to find out Christian was a singer, having so thoroughly enjoyed his work as Eliot Spencer on "Leverage" (just about my favorite show on ANY television network right now). But this is so damned good I'm worried he might go back to music full time!

I literally just watched the episode of Leverage he sang this in! I love Christian Kane, I really do. I don't even like country music but he's definitely an exception. Amazing actor, amazing voice. I was just thinking to myself: "I'd listen to Christian's music if he wrote some." And low and behold.-

First saw him sing & play guitar on Angel about 13 years ago. Very talented man with some great songs...plenty of them on UA-cam.

Yes I have seen it. All told, not a bad show if you like fantasy. He plays a much more intellectual character in this show. If they have him sing something, it will likely be a leisure activity that they all participated in. But like you, I do hope he sings. I love that smoky bar room voice of his.

Leverage is the best series I have ever watched. I never wanted it to end. I have heard this song before and didn't know that Christian Kane was the singer, songwriter.
I love leverage! I decided to get Christian Kane's cd once I heard him sing. The cd house rules is so AWESOME! No other country music does it for me. I listen to him over an over. I hope he makes another album soon. I love country but Christian Kane's cd is more then country, it's rock ,blues ,and yes country all in one.

This is such a beautiful song!! I had tears in my eyes the 1st time I heard it as it brought up a TON of memories of a former love. I don't know how Christian does it but every single song of his hits you smack right in the soul. No other artist out there can do that. When I heard this 1st Song,: listened Today: I Did Exactly what Rick stated would Happen: (We got caught in Downpour of Rain & @ the Beginning of Me starting to Have a Meltdown; "Ah!") Rick is Smiling, Happy as can be, Saying: "In 20 Years this will be funny!", it Wasn't. But 45 + Years Later, it Is. 💕

I just discovered Christian Kane. I was binge watching all episodes of "Leverage". I had to look up more info on him. So far I've downloaded everything I could find. I loved that show. I wish they hadn't cancelled it. I wish I could find some new music from Christian Kane. I love his music.

Christian Kane is in a class by himself. He is super talented, intelligent & easy on the eyes. Dare I say, Almost perfect? I'm not liking Redemption nearly as much as the characters in the original shows. It seems like the characters are caricatures of their previous personas. It's lost something in the great plots to me. I'm a die hard fan so will continue to watch it though. Love to all that read this. 📚

ChristianKane Just caught The Librarians, after doing a Leverage marathon this week. Awesome to see you back on TV. And the episode where you sung this - yeah this is a damn good song. The way the whole thing almost ends on a minor chord before it picks up right at the end - it's awesome.
