    Fabrics with which to make quilts for pediatric cancer patients lured me away from clay
    20 years ago and discovering you this morning has re-ignited my desire to return to clay!

    Very impressive how you created this beautiful glass-like look without using a polishing compound, varnish or UV resin. Well done!

      Thank you, Tom! It's actually easy. Polymer clay is not so complicated material as resin, glass or stones))

    WOW, I cant believe it! No need for resin when the pieces get that glossy! They will stay like that? I am a newbie at polymer clay, and for now, I am just playing with different techniques and mediums, and colors! I have gotten hold of some small drills and some buffing stuffs (felt wheels??) and now I know that my pieces have the ability to get really glossy. I am a happy creator right now! Thank you for sharing :)

    They're just beautiful. I have no patience with all that sanding but I have a dremel tool that I've never used so I'm trying it soon thanks to you. Love these pieces. Thanks for sharing.

    I tried a few polymer brands, but the polishing process does not work. The surface remains matte. Which brand of polymer do you use?

      Usually I use Premo, but almost any polymer clay brand can achieve that glossy effect! Which brand do you use?

    Great video, as always, thank you. What is the speed of your buffing wheel? How many rotations per second?

      The Foredom machine she uses is the best machine on the market for polishing in my opinion. It has variable speed so you can work up with your polishing not just trying to do it on high speed. I noticed she didn't even use any polishing compound which is amazing.

    Do the bases become part of the stones or are they a form? Thank you

    • @InessaGold
      @InessaGold 2 роки тому +1

      Yes, it's have to stay in the stone (in the pendant) permanently. I think it's may be good help for beginers too.
