Nice review. Ryan seemed to prefer the EZONE 98 (but enjoyed the VCORE 95) despite wanting spin (bite) on the ball. Admittedly he likes a bit more power for his style of play. Goes to show it’s all about how the racquet feels in your hand (personal taste). Shapovalov making the switch from VCORE 95 to EZONE 98 was also surprising - but it seems to be a trend amongst pros to move away from traditional player frames to more modern or even “tweener” frames (larger head sizes of 98+ and more power). EZONE may well start becoming more popular on tour and in clubs…
Confused between the pure drive and the ezone 98. From what i understand both have easy power but ezone gives better control and better dampening. Thoughts and advice please
I got the Ezone Tour 2022. I can only praise its perfect balance of power, spin and even control. I come from a Blade 18/20, don't feel much of a difference in terms of control. But feel ist so bad, even a dampener would not make any difference, because the Ezone does not leave anything to dampen in the first place. And yeah, the Tour is heavy AF, so get the 305 g version instead, I will have to replace it quite soon.
there are no bad rackets anymore...everything is.. yeh it's pretty good, easy power, easy volley, easy ground stroke. Just go out and demo it and find out yourself

Eu uso a Yonex Ezone 98 (2020). Em breve vou comprar esse novo modelo para comparar com a minha. Parabéns pelo review!
Have you got the new Ezone 98 yet? If so, what do you think about it?
A comparison with the VCore 98 would get more views.

Any arm pain with the tour?
@@MrFunkyko onlY on serves. I have acquired a bad ball toss (too far to the right side).
Other strokes are a piece of cake.
Shapo actually did use 2022 Ezone for a while 😮

Yonex Ezone 98+ or Whiteout XTD 18/20? That’s the question!

The guy plays awesome...but it's not all about strokes at the end of the day to make it
This is the only frame in the yonex line tha should have a 95 since it’s a power frame
