How To Properly Play Evelynn In Low Elo

- Hi, its camz, this is a quick Evelynn guide for anyone who wants to start playing her in low elo.
I am a small League of Legends Streamer who went from Iron 3 to bronze 2 in just a few weeks. I like improving in video games, like league, and I am learning as I go. I love sharing my improvement progress and what I learn as I play the game:) I rarely see other low elo evelynn players so I hope this helps those who want to give her a shot.

5:05 In eve's case, your charm already shreds 40% MR, this is why you will see most Eve go for 1 item of their choice into mejais into Rabadon.
Also, dealing with Tank isn't your job. Note that Void Staff is actually a pretty good burst item, as 40% mr pen is a lot, even against squishies that don't build MR.
As you already have MR shred in your kit, you want to build as much raw damage as possible.
So generally you would go :
(dark seal) -> Lichane/Stormsurge -> Mejai (if fed) -> Rabadon -> situational (Zhonia/Banshee/Shadowflame). Sorcerer boots whenever you can.
This, of course, requires you to use your charm (W) properly.
That aside, you did understand that you want to fullclear as Eve really comes online at Lv6, but starting Blue is very meh.
A good path for Eve would be something like Chikens -> Red -> Krugs. Back, get dark seal. Go top, Blue -> Gromp -> Wolves -> Chickens (which respawn just before you arrive) -> Krugs.
This makes for a very consistent early game, where you don't bet on the ennemy doing god knows what and giving away a free kill (which won't happens every game).
After that, the camps respawn in the same order you cleared them, so you can back, path top and gromp -> wolf will be up again. From here you should be around Lv6 and have the choice to do whatever you want, the grubbies are a good default option. Then start terrorizing the map >:)
That is not how you clear at all with any champion....... You cant clear like that as its not as optimal as from left to right or right to left if you do that on every next jungle clear not to mention you are delaying the respawn of camps by recalling.

As you said, don't listen to the guides that say to use green pet. The reason for this, especially on Evelynn is your playstyle. You have amazing MR shred and damage allowing you to one shot almost anyone, including some tanks. Green pet simply does not provide anything of value as red pet will allow slow and blue pet provides you with speed. But fun fact that many new players didn't know is that green pet used to be pretty much the only pet you would pick when jungling was revamped ! ^^
Thanks for the guide! I am only a sup main but I enjoy the occasional Eve jgl games with my friends the most and I really enjoy your perspective on her. However, one mechanic you missed is the ctrl+3 spam to do the super fast spinning dance. Isn‘t that a thing anymore?? :) Wish you the best!

A friendly advice for the runes (taken from azzap himself) - go dark harvest with precision second so you need to play for stacks and at mid game your ulti can one shot people at 50% health instead of the usual 30%

instead of alternator it's better to go for the blue thing first as it gives movement speed, this way you can actually get in range to proc your W

Sheen doesnt give mvspd, only cdr, on hit dmg and attack speed. The point in prefering raw ap first is because it benefits all your abilities and makes you heal more from the passive, Sheen interacts more with her E more than anything else.

Evelynn was my main champ, ever since she got two major nerfs in a row I no longer use her 😢.
the sheen isnt bad, it synergizes well with empowered e auto and gives haste for more e spam

@@shadeyato yeah but personally I think the other two components for evelynn are so much better early game and thats the first item I buy:)
in some cases money is awkward so it is easier to buy sheen
@@shadeyato I don't see any situation in which you'd prefer sheen over remaning components. Even if you have only 250g, the ability haste thing builds into codex or you can just sit on it. Imo only time you buy sheen is when you can afford every component but can't afford lichbane.
But cryptobloom heals you and refull your team
@@Anonima20000 yeah but voidstaff has more AP. This is not just me a lot of other guides and websites recommend void and she also has a higher wr with it. Im sure you can build cryptbloom with no issue, I just think void is a better option because of the extra AP and MR
Cryptbloom isnt really worth it cause eve is not a team fighter, she is usually alone getting picks, she needs all the ap and Magic pen to kill people by her self

@@rainy3374 yeah i think its good. It depends on the enemy team comp. For example i would build it if im playing against a lot of squishy champs and feel like I need more mobility. For example if they have like an ez bot lane or very mobile champs that escape easily. You can use belt to close the distance and be able to charm them if they run away when you charm
Camz, hold up, you are a alright streamer - People (including myself) enjoy your journey on Instagram... but you shouldn't be making guides.
You say it yourself constantly you have a lot to improve upon, and it might be a wake up call but this applies to Eve too.
Let's face it Plat players have no right to be claiming how people should be playing "properly" - you have zero right to be teaching from Bronze. It takes years to really grasp the fundamentals - and just because you know which runes to take and items that work well, and have killed some out of position Bronze ADC players does not make you in anyway close to being entitled enough to make this video.
You refuse to play tanks, anything that may assist your team, you chase kills, you constantly blame others for losses.
Mate, stick with what you're good at and leave the coaching to the talented ones that have actually put in the graft.
Most people can look at it more as a way camz got out of iron with eve, even if it isn't most optimal making a guide can be beneficial to her as well
@@short_solutions so, yeah I 1000% understand this but a few things:
1. This was requested by people from my community, they have never played Eve before and found other guides clickbaity and confusing. So they asked me for this video.
2. In the video I talk about what I know and have learned from my masters coach, she taught me a lot about evelynn since she is an OTP and Im just sharing what was taught.
3. I mainly am just explaining what runes and items she runs and why and how her abilities work, i feel like anyone that has played a champion and can read is able to say this specially for evelynn since she is a pretty straightforward character when it comes to those things.
Im just trying to help new players/people wanting to play evelynn and in this video I give ver simple information about the champion. Im not teaching any plat player how to play the game or saying this is the only right way to play jungle or evelynn. Just giving information about the champion.

The problem with making such a novice guide is that league doesn't have many new players (Game for veterans) and everyone already knows all the runes and items you are explaining... Also evelynn, jungling, even laning is quite autopilot... Like its not rocket science...
Like if a preseason comes and they change the jungle camps or the laning phase minion formula maybe such guide would make sense but as is it doesn't.
really the only time guides make sense in league is if they are for super hard to pilot champion or for super unique to pilot champion / game update
@@Poske_Ygo i understand that but some people asked for a simple evelynn guide since they saw me play evelynn and so I did this mainly for them. Its just something I did out of a request from my community and people that follow me (most of which are lower elo/new to the game.)
I disagree honestly, being able to watch how other people path, what they prioritize in a given situation, and even just having multiple ideas from different guides of rune choices in terms of play style are massively helpful pieces of info that can get people going quicker to understanding not just Evelynn but jungling in general.

Yeah dude I am multi season challenger and current 500 elo Master (Poske - EUNE).
At her elo the best way to learn the game is just by playing the fking game instead of watching youtube videos on how to play the game and then making one on her own... She should just play every champion 4 times for the champion to sink in.
Watching replays is 99% the waste of the time... IN most situations you shoudl know what you could have done better / what you missplayed you don't have to watch the vod...
I only download a replay when I wanna see a certain teamfight which lacked clarity from my camera angle... To see how we lost / won it if it wasn't clear while playing.
Eve is horrible at teaching her melee combat, map movement, or combat because her gameplay pattern has 0 counterplay which is why she is frequent high elo permaban.
Also just pick the default runes... No point in having your own items or runes until you are high elo because none of you ll build correctly.
